Totally agree. I am just unable to wait to vote for the lack of hope and lack of change that this administration has been all about.

Solomon71 commented on the blog post Economic Optimism Drops
The public opinion on Obama’s handling of the economy has soured. This is just great. Continuing to keep Geithner (a Wall Street stooge) as the secretary is finally paying off.

Great piece. I am amazed at how appropriately worded this piece is. Fantastic work. Up until 2008, I used to believe that the Democratic party somehow is more honorable and that the Democratic party truly cares about the lower and the middle class. But, the 2008 was a watershed election for the Democratic party. With [...]

Solomon71 commented on the blog post Come Saturday Morning: Hoyer Finally Admits the Obvious: Health Care Bill Killed the Dems in 2010
I could not agree with you more. I think that we and Jane are being quite naive if we are thinking that the DC Dems have finally realized that they got us disaffected because the healthcare debate was executed with such political expediency. If at all, the only thing the DC dems ever learn and ever have learnt is that they need to move further to the right.

This is not gonna happen. Obama has killed the soul of the Democratic party. Obama is nothing but a corporate sell out in the Democratic party. All his financial policies are for the 1% all the way. Obama does however throw a few social warfare crumbs to the hungry neo-liberals so that he can claim that is liberal.

This the problem. There are just too many Obamabots running around.

Solomon71 commented on the blog post Obama’s Approval Rating on the Economy Drops to 31% Among Liberals, 50% Among African Americans
David Axelrod simply cannot dig up enough “independents” or “centrists” that will be reward Obama for being “the adult in the room” to compensate for a 69% disapproval in the Democratic base.
I am not an Obama fan. But, I am not sure where Blue Texan got these numbers from. Just today’s Obama has 46% approval on Gallup. This is strange. The Democratic base deserves what Obama is going to bring to them. Here is a Democratic president extremely eager to cut SS and medicare. And, he has 46% approval rating. That’s obviously because the Democratic base still seems to think that Obama is their savior. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT WOULD BE THE APPROVAL RATING OF A REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT WHO WANTS TO INCREASE TAXES ON THE WEALTHY? No need to guess. My guess is that it will be lower than 10%. The Republican base will chew off the head of such a RINO.
The Democratic base is a bunch of blissfully ignorant people who are never aware of who is harming them and who is helping them.

Solomon71 commented on the diary post Mitch McConnell for President! Or, No Wonder Ed Schultz Is Confused by Scarecrow.
I completely agree that Ed has lost it completely. He used to be someone I really like. But, I can’t stand him anymore. It is as if he is really confused. He criticizes big O once, and then spends hours justifying all the right-wing nonsense that big O has undertaken. I have stopped watching Ed’s [...]

Solomon71 commented on the blog post Allen West Don’t Take No Sassy Mouth
DSW accused West of trying to balance the budget “on the backs of seniors, the poor, the middle class” and so forth. But, isn’t that exactly what DSW’s close ally Obama is also doing, and perhaps in a more insidious fashion?

Solomon71 commented on the blog post Voters Need to Know Who Cut Their Benefits Before 2012
I feel that what your suggestion is the best. It is best to vote against each and every Incumbent, especially Democratic incumbents. Especially if that incumbent’s goal is to collect one billion dollars in funding for his campaign.

Solomon71 commented on the blog post Obama Does Want to Cut Medicare and Social Security Benefits
The Democratic party has sold out so badly, that they will never ask for anybody’s forgiveness for undertaking the MOST irresponsible idea of cutting SS and medicare.

Tambe: you are forgetting the bid daddyof them all. Billy the king Clinton. He did not resign either. And, despite his sexual indulgences with other women, he is still the biggest celeberity in the Democratic party.

Solomon71 commented on the blog post Anthony Weiner Press 4pm ET Conference
This is just a shame that another true liberal may be going down. I had a lot of hopes from Anothony Weiner just like I had from John Edwards. But, just a little bit of attention is apparently enough for true liberals to lose their pants. What a shame.
