I got a great education at Cal State Hayward, and never paid more than $70 a quarter for a full load! Talk about a great deal, and a great deal for California. They produced untold thousands of well-educated workers who mostly stayed in California because it used to be a great place to live, and bolstered the economy. Prop 13 killed the goose that laid the golden eggs in the Golden State.

“Atlas Shrugged” and “Gone With the Wind” are both about extremely self-involved people who, unfortunately to the people in their wakes, are very competent in achieving their desired goals. At the detriment to others. At least Scarlett got her comeuppance at the end.

As far as the White House not moving to the right, Obama didn’t call out the Profession Right, or call Republicans Sanctimonious Purists.
