    It seems that there is just no middle ground to meet upon anymore. What kind of drastic outcome is it going to take to wake them up?

    Why do you think that so many people who show up for the Tea Party rallies don’t get it that these are NOT self serving interests? I mean so many of them want their Social Security but then vote for people who want to privatize it; they need Medicare but oppose solutions that would provide health care for all; they want lower gas prices but feed the powerful energy chieftans? It is still a wonder to me. Your thoughts, Taki?
