Sinestar commented on the blog post Why You Don’t Negotiate for Hostages
Why can’t this simple logic be applied to the ‘drug war’. If drugs were decriminalized, there would be no incentive to illegally market them in the underground as the price of drugs would be cheap and supply plentiful. The money saved could be applied to rehabilitation, treatment and intervention. But that would mean no more of this macho soldiering done by the Coast Guard, DEA, ATF, and local law enforcement agencies from coast to coast and outlying territories too.

If there was a serious bone in these fucking morons bodies, they’d be cutting about $333 billion from
defenseoffense spending and calling it a day. This is all about gutting SS and Medicare for some ideological prick to get his jollies of in the mouth of the groveling poor and weak. -

I like pussy. If it wasn’t for having to protect the sensibilities of backwards ass fucks like BD (rhymes with VD) they could have just shown the vulva in all its glory. By the way, they make tasty, if wholly (rhymes with Holy) unnutricious, snacks too.

Sorry I’m late to this one but I couldn’t resist commenting. I mean, WOW.
This has got to be the best JS yet. That some douche bag fucking religious ass monkey thinks he is going to boycott any products adverted on JS Show is just fucking hilarious.
The only religious fuck nuts that watch JS are those that do so to find ways to condemn it. Seriously you religious fucktard, no one really cares what you think anymore. You are in the death throws of being completely obsolete and it must suck very much to be a redundant, unuseable life form.
But seriously, put down your fucking Vible and pick up a science book and get over it, or simply just die, asshole.

Sinestar commented on the diary post Apple’s Two Faces: Power Gaps Between Brazil and China Foxconn Workers by Michelle Chen.
Do you know what ‘Hong Kong’ essentially means? ‘Red Factory’ (Actually the ‘kong’ is more of an English lack of ear, as factory in Chinese is pronounced more like ‘chee-ong’ and became bastardized into simply ‘kong’) This is a very old city and the worker exploitation has been going on for decades.

Sinestar commented on the blog post The Roundup for April 17, 2012
Fuck the ‘Violence Against Women Act’. That law has gotten more people, men and women, but far and away men tossed in the clink for the single worst misdemeanor for which you can be prosecuted. It’s a bullshit law providing incentive’s for police departments to toss someone in jail for even trivial domestic disputes.
It has also been used with impunity by women to take revenge on their husbands and boyfriends. It was another example of knee jerk reaction politics in response to the OJ Simpson case. If you want to pass a law on some seriously unreported violence, try female violence against men!

Sinestar commented on the blog post The Real Health Cost Issue Is that We Simply Pay Too Much for Health Services
I’m more alluding to that we live in a global economy, with a global product system. It’s hard to imagine there are more than a handful of companies that make an MRI system. How can an MD in Japan afford to provide an MRI at 1/10th the cost if they pay the same price for the machine and the maintenance and servicing? I posit that they can buy the machine for 1/10th what the manufacturers expects in profit, and in the US consumers pay 9/10th of the expected profit. Same with drugs and all the other hardware. I’m not saying greed isn’t a factor. I am sure there are people who love money enough to compromise their moral standards. We get into deeper waters though when we start asking what is a ‘fair’ profit.

I wonder if we are subsidizing the rest of the world’s health care costs. They pay less, so the designers, patent holders, and drug companies charge us more to compensate?

The Federal Government has never forced anyone to buy car insurance. The various state governments have, some even force you to carry your ‘papers’ Zeigen Sie mir Ihre Papiere! in the form of an insurance ID card. To say states rights are at issue and to then realize that the state government has far more effect and it far more restrictive than the federal government is sooooo ironic.
