I had a shocking conversation with a teenager during the Bush years. This young man supported Bush in his first election. When I asked why he said “Do you know how many criminals he executed while he was governor?” I was completely taken aback. A totally different mindset.

Good Morning everyone. I don’t want to hijack this post but wanted to report that the NY shooting was in my area. My office was in lockdown yesterday and we’re closed today till noon. I’m sure that will change if the standoff isn’t ended. All the gun lovers need to acknowledge that guns are ruining the sense of security we should have the freedom to enjoy.

Good Morning. I’ve had a wonderful week. I recorded FoxNews on election night and Fox and Friends the next morning. Ha…lots of fun.
OTOH, the repubs never give up. Now the Voting Rights Act is heading to the Supreme Court. -

Voter suppression is what keeps me up at night. I don’t think a 3 point lead (anywhere) is enough to win a state. I think Obama needs a good 6 or 7 point lead to counteract the suppression. Too many ‘likely voters’ are either going to be turned away or walk away from 6hr lines.
Despite Nate Silver’s predictions, I’m worried. -
