Disgusted in Euclid commented on the diary post The Impeachment of President Obama–Act I by Ohio Barbarian.
WTF are you talking about? Did I not just defend the IRS employees? Did you even read the OP? All I said is that the Republicans will take that issue and run with it. I also said I don’t think they will get anything with it other than attention, which is the whole point on [...]

Speaking on a rational basis, I agree with you. However, the Republicans are NOT rational, therefore the the Republicans may well use the whole Benghazi thing as an impeachment tool. OTOH, they may not. As I said above, I don’t think there’s any there there. It won’t stick. On the third hand, if I was [...]

Ugh….. I made the mistake of reading some of the comments from the news website – wow……wtf????? Folks are seriously worried more about losing their value menue????Waaahhhh! And a “State” worker complaining that she didn’t even make $15 at HER job???? OK folks, let’s all jump on the race to the bottom and say we [...]

Disgusted in Euclid commented on the diary post Do Tourists Get Sick When They Visit the United States? by inoljt.
Yes, it DOES sicken me every day! One of the last stadiums to bear the corporate logo was the Cleveland Browns Stadium – last month, the damn city council voted to sell the damn “naming rights” to Excel Energy….no vote taken from the good people of Cuyahoga County, whose tax $$$ were used to build [...]

I don’t know about the food making ‘em sick, but seeing the multitudes of corporate logos stamped on everything from buses to sports stadiums might bring about a certain amount of nausea……

Disgusted in Euclid commented on the diary post Throw Open the Borders–All of Them. I’m Serious. by Kurt Sperry.
I agree. Why should corporations be the only things able to pack up and leave in order to be “more competitive” and grow? Do we not deserve to enjoy the same freedom for our own economic well-being?
Highly rec’d!

Disgusted in Euclid commented on the diary post Why Stress the Tsarnaev Brothers’ Ethnicity and/or Religion? by E. F. Beall.
the stress occurs because it suits the narrative that the US faces the implacable enemy of Terrorism (i.e., what is normally considered a tactic, raised a metaphysical notch or two to a concept that subsumes a large number of entities into itself).
Exactly! It makes things appears sooo much more dramatic and garners a lot [...]

Disgusted in Euclid commented on the diary post Curmudgeons Crab About Obama’s Revolving Door by wendydavis.
LOL! No sign, or none that I have ever noticed. I have often wondered about the origin of that street name myself! We might have that perception here, wendydavis, we just might… As for equality of wealth – well, we’re all pretty equally *effen* poor around here – according to 2011 census, 17% of Euclidians [...]

Hmmmmm……well, E 222nd merges with Babbitt Rd. @ Lakeshore Blvd, forming a complete triangle, and Babbitt Rd. almost merges with E. 260th @ Euclid Ave, almost forming a complete triangle….I wonder if this was intentional?? LOL!

We’re a pretty intelligent people, wendydavis; we also invented this:
Zoning types in the United States Zoning codes have evolved over the years as urban planning theory has changed, legal constraints have fluctuated, and political priorities have shifted. The various approaches to zoning can be divided into four broad categories: Euclidean, Performance, Incentive, and form-based. Named [...]

We here in Euclid are exceptionally fast readers! We invented Evelyn Woods, doncha know? LOL
Now you already know that I’m currently registered with that evil “S-word” party (shhhh…..), but perhaps with a bit of arm twisting (read: huge cash “donations”) I just might be compelled to join your little ol’ party!
