Hobby Lobby and Mardel are both owned by the same family and are headquartered in the same building in Oklahoma City.
They aren’t Mormons. They’re pretty hard core Baptists. -

Anyway, if you guys need me to get something else done, leave your suggestions in the comments. I can pretty much make anything happen. Except bring back Firefly.
What good is the ability to control thought and discourse (and apparently drones on the other side of the world) with the sheer force of your personality if you can’t do that? Can you at least get us a move for “Chuck”?

But if you’re going to sit on the “Military Retirees and Veterans” caucus, you ought to be a military retiree or a Veteran.
As a military retiree and a Veteran, I’m just sayin. -

And after somebody removed it, someone else edited it to read “…having studiously avoided military service while his country was at war”

Love the obligatory 9/11 reference. This lookingspoon site is a parody site, right? Or is it another example of Poe’s law, where you can’t tell because the real thing is so barking insane that it auto-parodies?

Doesn’t California have open access to all beaches, except the aforementioned military bases? So Just ANYBODY could set up shop on the sand adjacent to the Romney manse. Hmmmmm. The possiblities…

Oh, look! Someone’s putting that Poly Sci 110 “Survey of 18th and 19th Century European Political Movements”.
It’s a shame they couldn’t tie it in to the French Revolution. THAT would have been impressive. -

“Combat” journalism…
They keep using that word. I don’t think it means what they think it means. -

Considering the sizes of the back yards I’ve seen in my wife’s family’s various places in San Diego–generally on the smallish side, which is to say “slightly larger than a medium area rug,” couldn’t you take them out there and corner them for a picture, or do you not have a back yard?

Soonergrunt may be cleverly referring to the fact that “Alexandre Dumas” is itself a pseudonym, or rather the nom-de-plume of the fella born Dumas Davy de la Pailleterie. N’est ce pas, Sooner?
Yeah, sure. Let’s run with that.

Man, you have ALL the cool shit going on in San Diego.
Comic-con, beaches, great museums, wonderful weather, excellent food, a world class zoo, a great air show, Sea World, and on and on and on, and now this, too.
Why can’t you people leave something for us out here in the Heartland(tm)? -

When I was a kid growing up in rural Wyoming, we all learned how to spot rabid animals quickly and put as much distance between you and them by slowly backing away. Hadn’t used that skill in years. I just involuntarily backed out of my home office and all the way into the kitchen. But hey, brownies!

I just received a visit from conservative “comic artist” Chris Muir in my latest thread over at Balloon-Juice noting the site redesign.
He has a sad that people are saying mean things about Andrew Breitbart, who is still dead, BTW, and laments to John Cole,Whatever our politics, to see your site devolving over the years, to postings under your aegis such as this…
Well, I feel chastised. Or I would, if Chris Muir were somebody who mattered at all.

You know, after the image at the top of this post, I must reiterate my call for more of Shakira’s ass from the last thread. I DID give you another answer that would’ve worked, had you needed it. And while I was only kidding in the last thread about more Shakira’s ass then, I am not kidding now.
Please, after the damage you’ve inflicted with the two inverted highway cones coated in cottage cheese and topped with a worn Army PT shirt, if you won’t do it for me, do it for the children. More Shakira’s ass. - Load More
