The executions stopped when Madame Du Barry screamed all the way from the tumbril until the blade fell. Until then people went to their deaths in silence. People were horrified by by the spectacle. The executions stopped shortly thereafter.

Not in a long time. I’ll leave it at that.
The left as an unified anything is history. The left needs a rebirthing and a rethinking of it’s ideals and goals. What passes for the left today is what you see/hear on mainstream media.
I want fundamental change, not cosmetic, piecemeal change that will end up being eroded by our corporate elected officials.

The system will collapse regardless of who’s in the WH. It will depend partially on Congress but not enough to matter very much.
The apathy of the American public has ensured that the system’s failures will have to affect them personally before they decide to take any action.
At least a vote for either Stein or Anderson will show people who are paying attention to those numbers where some of the public stand.
Obama does as the corporations dictate. Rmoney will do the same if elected.
Maybe not much help for you but that’s my chain of thought.

In the early days of the Irak war a t-shirt was available, a white rose with “We will not be silent” underneath. It was very popular with anti-war activists. I don’t wear mine very often cuz I’d like to keep it in good condition.
The film Sophie Scholl is excellent.
