I’d be more upset if the portrait was of Jesus but it’s not. It’s really Republican Jesus, the right’s fantasy of Jesus with European features.
Wonderful. Rice is browbeaten into bowing out in favor of the Skull & Bones nominee. Apparently, taking a dive twice for his fellow Bonesman in 2004, once for the election, and again for the Ohio recount, wasn’t enough to satisfy Lurch’s sense of civic duty.

Because those who “investigated” JFK’s assassination wanted to make sure that everyone who lived through it was dead, had long forgotten it, or didn’t care anymore when this information is released in 2029 and 2039 and the extent of the conspiracy and cover-up would be obvious.
