And probably all 533 are related to each other. PLUS there’s a couple of great great great grandmas or grandpas who actually are octaroons. That’s why their pants are all on fire now. Here’s hoping they end up burning themselves.

stevetalbert commented on the blog post A Pathetic Moment for Obama to Show Executive Restraint
They may think gays have “nowhere else to go”.. but one thing a great many of my friends are starting to say is that maybe the real way to get rid of the GOP and (im)moral ‘value’ voters is to let them have one last crushing f#ckup and implode by overreaching as they have started doing. A Romney Admin banning contraception, etc, will be a great way to have the 2014 and 2016 elections go progressive. The Dems need an intervention, and they won’t do it unless things get rock bottom. Voting for Obama and more of the same won’t help progressive issues in the long run.

Just proves what most suspected, that they used the crises they created and took the bailout money to buy up competition instead of working through the mess they made of the residential real estate market.

I agree. I thought the current system was privatized Medicare. It isn’t working.

stevetalbert commented on the blog post Newt Gingrich the Spoiler
Looking at some different tables I have seen comparing the 4 main remaining candidates, Newt does better than Santorum in some measures than others. It could just as well mean that Santorum is the spoiler because he doesn’t have the backing and staff support to truly take on Romney for the rest of the primary. Just saying. I think both are equally horrible. The only saving grace about Romney is that he probably thinks more about what people think of him to make him change his mind…. so the GOP followers might not be as bad was with the other 2. Paul, however, is a loon.

stevetalbert commented on the blog post Pounding the Pulpit
I love the comment about Romney, Marriots Mormon ties, and porn in that Economist link.. with the article about whether or not Marriotts decision to stop offering paid porn in the rooms was related to them wanting to help Romney campaign.. LOL.
Basically said Marriott might not have been helping Romney so much as since shortly after Romney left the Marriott board they quit offering porn, it is easy to assume that Romney was the major promoter of porn on the board and they were wanting to do it all along regardless of cost. LOL. Great spin.

stevetalbert commented on the blog post What century would Alabama and Mississippi Republicans like to wind the clock back to?
Horribly, I think one reason there is so much “I don’t know” is because all they really know is he’s Black, and don’t want to know much more after that.
Also, I think the ones who think islam is that they are confusing him with Malcolm X (also lived in Hyde Park Chicago).. you know they all look alike.

stevetalbert commented on the blog post Religious right bearing false witness against Sandra Fluke
I agree this is a lot of the problem. Particularly since Rush probably can’t have sex WITHOUT ED meds, he just assumes it applies to everyone else since he is so self centered.
They have all equated it to condom use, so they are thinking in that way to start. They don’t want to acknowledge any other use of hormonal birth control and are too ignorant to know the science behind it.

They aren’t censoring him, they are wisely using contraception to avoid a miscarriage of common decency.

stevetalbert commented on the blog post Obama to Congressional Campaign Committees: You’re On Your Own
One should stop giving to Presidential and Congressional candidates if you aren’t willing to give $5,000 or more and be willing to basically fund the most conservative of the group (Ben Nelson has gotten a lot of the money from the Dem Senatorial Committee, as has that jerk from West Virginia voting for the Blunt Amendment).
$25, $50, and $100 go a long way in a local and state race, and will impact your life more. Also, local and state candidates always need volunteers, and because they are local, there is usually more chance of ongoing connections.

stevetalbert commented on the blog post Michigan Primary Remains Extremely Close
It’s really not so startling if you stop and actually listen to what Santorum says. That, and it probably takes 7 days to actually get around to checking him out on the internet… lol

stevetalbert commented on the blog post DENIED: Wife says ‘no nookie’ to VA Delegate over transvaginal ultrasound bill
I wasn’t referring to you or any other jokes about those clowns. What is disgusting is the people who would all vote for something like this knowing full well what the procedure is (a doctor who is a Dem rep gave a graphic explanation before they voted) and then its all a big joke when “they get caught”. As a guy, I have never actually understood mysogeny (sp?) until now. They think everyone who who doesn’t share their views are really beneath contemp and just a joke. With gay issues I just assumed it was religious or closeted acting out..and with racial things racist, but have never actually seen prejudice against women so clearly shown to me. His wife is just a thing to have sex with to him and do chores.. It’s disgusting considering they have a job representing citizens. It really is all about power and nothing else. Hate to be a downer.

stevetalbert commented on the blog post Lucifer 2012: Obama’s not a Christian & aided by Satan; social conservatives cling to fear
I have always thought Christianity as actually Satanic if you are honest about it,,, because without Satan, their belief system as it is structured now falls apart.
This is a great post and makes alot of this craziness make sense to me now. They don’t see gov intrusion as big government, because they think this is exactly what government is supposed to do – control your personal urges. Everything else is for the free market.

stevetalbert commented on the blog post More Signs of Romney’s Growing Unfavorability
I can’t believe Rick Santorum’s favorability rating actually INCREASED during the past 2 months and his unfavorability stated the same at only 35%. I don’t know if this is scary or sad. I would have expected him to be between Romney and Newt.

Also, there gas been a Hugh increase in hydraulic fracturing in Texas over the decade.
Why is it so bad that people in need took Monet from people who wanted to help people in need.?? I don’t think they should have misrepresented their affiliation. The salvation army is a vocal anti gay and anforced pregnancy organization.

Texas is a large natural gas producer. A lot in south Texas, and also by product of some oil wells.
