Anyone who really desires to understand this woman and her motivation must read about the fascists who desire to install a theocracy here and now. Bachmann is a true believer in Christian Dominionism. A set of beliefs that insist on an American Theocratic state in which all non believers will be marginalized at best and exterminated at worst. Pat Robertson ,Jerry Falwell as well as many other fundamentalist believe in this idea. Bush, the younger,was also a believer. These Dominionists have already achieved some success as the Republican party has been hijacked by them. She must be taken seriously and real journalist in the mainstream must expose her dangerous and undemocratic ideas. She is the Fascist figurehead we have been warned about.

My Grandmother was a traditionalist Catholic. She had an eight grade education. She was the product of her enviornment and choose to pretend that her daughter and two grandsons and countless nieces and nephews are gay. She was so brainwashed about so many things but i do love her as i understand the world she inhabited.
