i used to have great legs but… 8 surgeries on my left one has it looking like a tic-tac-toe field and now i have that long curved scar on the right… and in how gravity is no longer my friend and i was willing to only go for below the knee shorts

i’m the opposite when it comes to proofreading — i get to where i’ve read ‘it’ so many times that i can no longer see typos and errors and like to have someone who can double check it

hey tuez — how ya doing tonight? let me see, looks like you and i got a couple pair of long shorts (one cargo style) and about a half dozen tshirts. dont think you want the sore leg that went with it but the sales were great — picked up a couple camisoles for $2/each and the other t’s were between $4 and $6. bright summer colors

jen drove me to the post office today. i walked in using my crutches, stood in line to mail a small package and get stamps, checked my po box and then back out to the truck. we went to old navy and shopped. thank goodness they have carts — jules was so cute sitting in the seat and playing with the tshirts we got. she was peek-a-booing all over the store. by the time we got home (after doing a quick run at the drive up coffee shack) i was exhausted. most i’ve stood and walked in almost 4 months.
i’ve got sausage toes from the swelling and my ankle is really sore. knee is stiff and swollen but not bad. sure as hell gave it a work out but they had tshirts for a little as $2 :)

how’s the coast tonight? we had sunshine most of the day and a kewl thunderstorm right before a spectacular sunset. weather dood said 250 lightnings in the pdx area. the sunset after was all orange and fuschia and pink and violet. really pretty
