welcome and thank you for writing this book. i’m still reading it but wow, is it ever a trip down memory lane for me. i got grief while a freshman in high school for writing a paper about angela davis’s activism based on a look magazine article.
as i said, i’m still reading your book but i highly recommend it. thank you

i’ve heard that about getting local honey to help with seasonal allergies before. i’m gonna have to look for some — the local farmers markets will be starting up next month

flowers blooming early. very warm days this spring and then whammo snow. we’ve already had our first named tropical storm in the pacific. weather dood on tv said allergy season is really bad because so much is blooming all at once and there is a lot more pollen from more plants in the air all at once. other places haven’t had rain or only had a drop or two.

we started off with a nice sunny and warm spring. now temps are back to ‘regular’ and we need the drippiness — did see a peak of blue skies towards sunset but no sun. i’ve been hosting lln for more than 5 years and i’m seeing more and more comments about how things are not what the used to be.

ps winds can be fierce! mom hated it when the wind blew hard when she was living there — said it blew the sand and dust inside even with all the doors and windows closed.
