Not true. These workers love what they do. Most white and black people wouldn’t last one day–they would quit and not because of the pay.

I agree. Clueless rant. Most of the grooms in a racing stable also live there too–their employer provides more for them that “just a salary.” They work hard and hispanics have a way with horses. The job is 24/7. Horses have to be fed 3X day, groomed, stalls mucked out, watered, tacked up and exercised, [...]

Did I miss something? The proposed GOP budget cuts did not have any cuts to Medicare, Social Security or defense spending. http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/archiv … 027623.php excerpt “The Republican Study Committee has quite a laundry list in mind. These folks actually map out cutting $2.5 trillion from the budget without touching Social Security, Medicare, or even a [...]

It is bad enough that the GOP/Teabaggers lie but now so called Progressives are lying too? Patients can still have these discussions with their MD’s but the MD’s cannot bill medicare. “The withdrawal of the Medicare regulation on advance care planning does not prevent physicians and patients from talking about living wills, hospice care, or [...]

Not true. It is “who you know” that gets the job done.
Bill Gates did not begin his life poor.
There is no such thing as a “self-made man.”

I keep hoping that there will be a march/protest organized to go to Washington DC. A crowd as large as the Sanity rally or larger. Sadly, this is what it is going to take to get the message across to Congress/Pres.
I’m ready to go.

ROTFL. I’m sure the Republicans are really scared of the Dems/Progressive. We are our own worst enemy. We don’t show up or fight for what we believe in. Bunch of wimps!

Are you people serious? What can we do?
I’ve been on these blogs for two damn years listening to everyone make fun of the Tea Party. But guess what? They showed up oppose the public option and they won. Where were we?????
We could march on Washington DC in force to oppose the Bush Tax Cuts and cuts to SS–That Is What We Could Do. Does it work–well, it’s worked out pretty darn well for the Tea Party, now hasn’t it.
The way I see if, If we don’t show up, we’d better just STFU and stop blaming Obama/Dems because we don’t show up.
You say it won’t work? Well, how the heck do you know because so far, we haven’t shown up.
We also didn’t SHOW UP for the mid-term elections and look what we are going to get because we DIDN’T SHOW UP! The way I see it, we are as much to blame as Obama and the Dems–next time you want to blame someone–look in the mirror if you didn’t VOTE!
Geeze! Bunch of wimps!

Marches/Protests don’t work? Hmmm, they seem to be working out pretty well for the Teabaggers.
Are we really just going to do nothing but sign petitions and blog and let them destroy Social Security?
Are we really?
