Man, you should read (or probably not) the great white dope, Stacy McCain’s tale of that Lexington incident and how it was justified….sociopaths in action.

Don’t even try that re-writing history shit, Tim. I wrote extensively about the Kentucky stomping incident at the time, so let’s be clear about what happened:

    1. The woman in the incident was a paid provacateur [sic] from MoveOn.org, sent to Kentucky for a propaganda campaign to depict Rand Paul as a tool of “billionaires.” She had been stalking Paul for several days as part of this effort.

    2. The incident occurred before a televised debate between Paul and Conway. Noticing the woman on the scene, Paul’s supporters approached a police office and warned him that they feared the woman was going to try something. The officer ignored their warning.

    3. When Paul arrived, the woman frantically charged toward the candidate’s vehicle, despite efforts of Paul’s supporters efforts to block her path.

Then, and only then, did the stomping incident occur, for which the person responsible (a volunteer county coordinator) was kicked off the campaign and subjected to criminal prosecution for assault.

Far from being ignored by conservatives, this incident was extensively covered by Jim Hoft, Melissa Clouthier and John Hawkins, among others, and more to the point, was covered by such mainstream outlets as the Louisville Fox affiliate and CNN.

I will note that by “covered,” he apparently means “defended” by Jim Hoft and others.

There’s more, but it’s mainly classic right-wing partisan victimhood about being oppressed and ignored, etc.
