They legalized gay marriage in Iowa and it’s right next door to Minnesota. WTF is up with these people? I’d say it’s about time that the “so called mainstream religious” folks started speaking out a bit more rigorously against this type of anti-hippy Jebus thinking so the atheists and rationalist community don’t have to do all the heavy lifting. So much focus on prosecuting the sexuality requirements if the Bible yet so little interest in prosecuting usury. Whocouldanode?

I recently noticed where J.D. Byrider (sp?) as well as other “we-tote-the-note” car dealerships were being packaged by financial institutions just like all those crappy home loans were bundled and re-packaged. There are indeed billions to be made on high interest loans for used cars to desperate buyers at huge margins. It helps the bottom line that a lot of the buyers, already riding so close to the financial edge that they are buying from the only credit available source at all, will default and the car will be repossessed (Lizard Lick Towing anybody?) and resold to the next hapless client (victim). And I hear you can cash in on these things through the usual credit default swaps, blah, blah, blah. The stuff that caused the last meltdown and the banks were never required to fix. This is their second act against the citizens of the US. They’re righteously (indignantly?) pissed that their bonuses got limited to 150 thousand dollars this year. They’re looking for a way to get it back in another venue. You bitches have no idea how expensive those third vacation houses in southern France can be.

    Enjoy.

It’s pretty hard to compete with Shakira’s ass and I’m too old to even identify the artists, let alone the songs in those lists….lol. I do have Itunes and a bunch of music, but I don’t want the ribbing that would come with public exposure of my playlist.

What I would like the public to know is that a guy named Rossi is claiming he’s looking for a factory in the USA to produce the MILLION e-cat (free energy!!!) devices he will be producing in the next eighteen months. Of course the experts are as skeptical as the rubes are fired up. I thought I’d take a swing at the subject in my own unique fashion:
    Excerpt:

All public demonstrations of the E-cat device are to be accompanied by supporting documentation that is as free of conclusive facts as 1970′s porn is free of focus and that’s not an easy task indeed.

Sarah has gesticulated as ardently as possible for all the positions she feels strongly for. I just keep wishing she would broaden the scope of her revelatory offerings to include the birth certificate of that baby she claimed to have. I only mention it because she’s still dodging that bullet and certain members of the cursed lame stream media keep misrepresenting the particulars in a way that implies she has actually provided documentary evidence in support of her rather bizarre pregnancy. Sarah has retreated into the background as the most prominent ‘crazy’ because the entire dam Republican party has done backflips in trying to out-crazy the crazy lady. It’s fun to watch. When they get brutally slammed down in the election will they pick up arms? That’s the talk they’re talking. Wouldn’t it be sweet karma to see Obama engage the mighty powers of the police state using the carte blanche they all handed over during Operation Scare the Fuck out of Everybody under Bush? FEMA camps filled with the lunatic fringe of rightwing America. It could happen.

I’ve heard the zoo there in SD is pretty nice. Can you bring your dog to the zoo with you? Are there recharging stations for the e-bike users? Can you walk free with monkeys and penguins?

  • You can still get rich as a lawyer. Don’t despair.

Any area of law that deals with handling the bureaucracy of minor or major infractions against the vast unwashed masses will still be profitable.

Becoming tomorrow’s expert on “Keeping Torture Legal” is most likely a ticket to vast legal wealth.

Lawyering is easy these days. You can totally redefine words! Black can be white, and up can be down! You just need to act like interpreting the contemporary language of legal documents is as difficult as trying to parse the original intent of ancient biblical verses. It’ll help your argument to frame it in biblical terms as I’ve shown here. Merry Fucking Christmas.

  • Corrected: “blow up your house” or “burn down the block” (re: Mayor Wilson Goode).

  • This measure won’t pass with even 95% support, so long as the remaining five percent are allowed to enrich themselves off prohibition and incarceration, while at the same time paying to subvert the will of the people by buying congress.

    Enjoy.

  • But it–along with the way our government chose to stop tracking right wing terrorists when a bunch of right wingers made noise–shows the fundamental lie at the heart of our concern for terrorism.

It shows that the fundamentalists lie at the heart of the American terror scene and are doing their best to cover up their own terrorism. So far, so good.

Is there anybody who could point me to a model of either of those towers that fell on 9-11 that shows an agreed-to engineering example of how those towers actually collapsed? I can’t wrap my head around how the foundations crumbled to nothing from planes hitting so high up.

  • O/T, but with sunrise in a couple hours, I wanted to make sure everyone wakes to the news that the Anthony Weiner situation has been identified as a Rightwing dirty trick, which I doubt many of you here will find all that shocking. Details:

“To rid America of the evil scourge of marijuana, we must stop molly-coddling these dangerous dope fiends. Just as enhanced interrogation was PIVOTAL in our WIN against the Taliban, it is time to take the gloves off against these societal MONSTERS. Doing any less is being disrespectful to GOD and dangerous to our children.”

Well….obviously…we have a hacker in Lockheed Park. He’s sneakin’ in yo’ servers. He’s snatchin’ yo’ data up! You need to hide yo’ ‘keys’, hide yo’ passwords, and hide yo’ porn ’cause they be hacking everything up in here.

March RSA Hack Hits Lockheed, Remote Systems Breached

Two comments I left there I wanted to share with my favorite target audience:

Well….obviously…we have a hacker in Lockheed Park. He’s sneakin’ in yo’ servers. He’s snatchin’ yo’ data up! You need to hide yo’ ‘keys’, hide yo’ passwords, and hide yo’ porn ’cause they be hacking everything up in here.

    and this:

I’m pretty sure they’re gonna try and pin this on Bradley Manning. They’d just as soon blame it on Julian Assange, but he’s under house arrest in a country home in England that lacks the SIPRNet connection Bradley has available in the prison library at his new home in Leavenworth.

And Chillax everybody. What’s the worst that could have been compromised? It’s not like a Facebook leak, where the private photos of all the meals you uploaded to Twitpic are suddenly exposed for critical social analysis. This leak will probably just make it harder for us to win a future war we shouldn’t have started in the first place.

Since we’re in full Orwellian doublespeak mode I’ll translate:

We are not trying to kill him. We are trying to vaporize him. The effect may be the same, but in a court of law I’m sticking VERY closely to the vaporize definition. I have learned through observation that it will definitely ENHANCE the chances than my INTERROGATION will go very well for me to employ such strict interpretation of definitions.

  • All torture is bad and illegal. The vast majority of the torture done in Iraq was to find WMD’s that didn’t exist. So we tortured innocent people into making false confessions. We definitely weren’t looking for OBL in Iraq. I’m convinced the purpose of the torture in Iraq was to secure those false confessions to cover Bush’s ass. Our government knew (or should have) that Saddam didn’t have shit. That’s the real torture crime IMHO, not splitting hairs over imaginary ticking time-bomb torture scenarios.

When you’ve got prima facie evidence that the torture happened (183 times to just ONE guy ferchrissakes), an admitted leader who ordered it (Bush), and evidence it doesn’t work to boot, PUT THE CRIMINALS IN JAIL.

  • Bush was friends with his family. I think it’s really that simple.
