Patty’s wife and my co-producer said that Patty got more press for HIT SO HARD than she did when she was a rock star! When we started the film she had basically given up drumming, now she’s been in several bands and continues to play more and more. The more she drums the less she does with her dog business but she still is devoted to dogs. We are finishing a new doc about Cher and her mother because Cher saw HIT SO HARD and liked our style.

Patty and Courtney stayed friends after Hole. Patty hadn’t really talked to Eric and Melissa since Hole before we made the movie, now they are all friends again. Did you see the video of the party after our NY premiere when Hole reunited for two songs?

Ha! That’s what that was. A fascinator! We weren’t sure. We were so happy Courtney did her own hair and makeup in true punk fashion. We waited in the lobby of her hotel for 5 hours but it was worth it.
