Yeah, I don’t really see much daylight on building coalitions between Left and Right. If there is potential there, then it would only be in form of fooling the right into actually doing what is best for their own interest and, oddly enough, that’s hard to do. The Right can surprise you sometimes though . . .

Ain’t nothin’ better than ice cream under an electric blanket. I remember Mt. Hood from my two years in Portland way back when. Good memories. I seem to remember a steakhouse with strippers out there somewhere, but my memories are imperfect. Is that still there?
