“If you are conducting law enforcement interviews in a DOD facility, a formal request from the FBI must be made to isolate a detainee. This request must be approved by the first O-6 in the chain of command.”
This is a reference to the procedures in the Army Field Manual’s Appendix M. Why no mention of how DoD uses Isolation, Kevin? You know better than this. Failing to mention this supremely important fact robs this story of its actual context.
