What I have a hard time understanding is how this kid could post a long diary online, clearly demonstrating that he was headed for suicide – and no one did a thing about it, such as contacting his family to warn them, or getting him into an inpatient treatment facility.
I know a psych hospital and drugs are not necessarily the best options, but he had a lethal illness, and it went untreated, and it killed him.
