Siege!
Salt the fields!
Poison the water!
Nobody in, nobody out!
Bring on the catapults! The trebuchets!
Bring on the Dunharrow (the Oathbreakers) from Lord of the Rings!
We need more elephants! More arrows! More rocks! More trolls!

waynec commented on the blog post Saudis Explicitly Warned U.S. Intelligence Agencies About Tamerlan Tsarnaev
6n one hand, it’s hard to believe the fbi would be so inept as to ignore not one, but two warnings from foreign gov’ts.
Without delving deeper than the surface of the bombing, the fbi looks completely flatfooted.
On the other hand, looking deeper, the situation is much scarier. Either way, there should be several investigations of the fbi and their (non)involvement in the bombing -

Here we go again.
More escalation.
Especially of things that are not verifiable, just like the WMD’s
that Iraq supposedly had.
Halliburton, the recipient of about $60 billion dollars so far in the middle east wars,
must be overjoyous in anticipation.
Obama put Social Security on the table.
Bankers get away with illegal forclosure and the foreclosed-upon get a $1000 check for their trouble and the bank gets to keep their house.
The 1% get a huge tax break (remember trickle-down economics?) I’m tired of getting trickled on.
And on it goes… -
waynec commented on the diary post NOM Calls CJ Roberts’ Family “Second-Best” by Teddy Partridge.
Yes, questionnaire after questionnaire. Home visit after home visit. Financial scrutiny, character references. We wondered if the birth patent(s) would reclaim the child after letting us raise and love and support them for up to 6 months. Both my children were adopted the day after they were born. My daughters birth mother was 14 and [...]

waynec commented on the blog post Don’t Blame the Video Games
“The only games I can ever say have ever effected me in any way are Driving games that has no “gun viloence”. It takes a bit to come down so I can drive like a normal person.”
In your mind, do you think there are any number of people that feel the same way about watching-gun violent video games and must “come down” before they can act rationally?
Or am I reaching here? -
waynec commented on the blog post Government Moves to Prevent Bradley Manning’s Defense from Discussing Over-Classification
” After all..she is employed by the very party who wants to put him away for life. P E R I O D”
Not only that, Obama has publicly stated that PFC Manning, “broke the law.”
Now, what employee would countermand her employer? Is the MSM staying away from this story so the gov’t stays away from them??
The smell is getting pretty bad.

waynec commented on the blog post Morgan Stanley Banker Who Stabbed Cab Driver Fired by Firm
Did the cabbie deserve being attacked? Absolutely not.
You state:
“You know how this story ends. Jennings got away with it. The state dropped the charges because the cabbie held onto the pen knife for five months before delivering it to police, thereby tainting the evidence. So it’s the same old story; entitled, rich banker assaulting a working person and getting away with it on a technicality.”DD, this “technicality” is otherwise known as the law.
Was the evidence tainted?
Who knows. If the situation were reversed, would you be writing this story? If Jennings were the one to keep the knife for 5 months would you be fighting for him?
Me thinks not. You really are reaching here -

A million Americans live in Mexico because they like it and it is far and away cheaper. Im have friends who live there, mostly in enclaves where they have no problem with the locals. Or with the gov’t for that matter. What control are you speaking of?
