Come on down, Isaiah. Bumfuck, CO is dry right now, but wonderful, nonetheless. Full of the hated ‘rightwingers’, and most of them are good folks who help folks regardless of their political persuasions. I like that (speaking as a longtime supposed ‘lightning rod/idealogue’ in our community.) They’ll miss the lightning and ozone…when I’m gone. ;~)

I dunno; the inequality link data is based on the Gini coefficient, which is *income dispersal*. What’s far more telling, imo, is *wealth dispersal* or inequalities.
Massive concentrations of wealth being, you know…far more important in terms of power variance, since…money is speech, corporations are people, and Lobbyists are as prolific as red wing blackbirds.

Yup, it’ll be pritzker and her pals on the tpp and transatlantic trade deals. oh, which reminds me: that the CFTC watered down the derivatives rules again was bad and predictable, but now this is almost too sick for laughter. Some of the sentences are such propaganda, as was the entire Guardian characterization of GMOs. Crikey.

Just a suggestion, but given that many here depend on your presence daily, I wonder if you might not ask management to publish a quick post saying what’s up if you can’t be here. If you are temporarily without internet access, perhaps you could phone one of the local PTBs, even. There may be times when some life situations for you wouldn’t even lend to that, but we hope not.
