Don’t worry troll, obama will come to the republicans’ rescue:

“Democrats, led by Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader, have repeatedly said they will not negotiate over reopening the government or raising the debt ceiling. But privately, a growing number of them said they have come to the realization that to insist on giving nothing to Republicans at all is a bargaining position they may be unable to maintain.

What they give and how a compromise could be structured so it allows the president and Democratic leaders to say credibly that they have not reversed their hard-line position is unclear. White House officials said the president would be willing to sign a short-term increase in the debt ceiling and then negotiate on larger budget issues, but not if the two were explicitly linked.

Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, one of a handful of Republicans who often reaches across the aisle, said Mr. Obama told them he would be willing to “trade” something in exchange for their cooperation.

“He said ‘space for trading,’ ” Ms. Murkowski said. “So apparently we are not talking about negotiation, we’re talking about some trading space.”

and to everyone with an modicum of intelligence or more: don’t feed this troll phoenix woman. She’s either a mindless demozombie or a knowledgeable liar … much more likely … that is just a kinder, gentler version of tbogg who exists to get hits on her page by posting opinions that are designed to get a lot of people that actually aren’t intellectually corrupt or stupid commenting on them. She’s not worth your time, just like tbogg wasn’t. And I’m done with her, and you should be too rather than feeding her any more and treating her opinions … and herself … with an ounce of respectability. She does not deserve it.

What is the upside to showing any respect to people that have ridiculous positions that they hold onto no matter how many times the facts disprove those positions?

The facts that annihilate your belief that obama can’t “negotiate his way out of a paper bag” … though he somehow consistently arrives at compromises that please his corporate sponsors … and your premise that he and your beloved party actually have good intentions, but just keep getting outmaneuvered by those nasty republicans … though both parties, again, largely have and serve the same corporate sponsors … have been spilled all over this website, so if you still refuse to recognize them, I will not waste much of my time reiterating them to a hopeful … and hopeless … demozombie fool like you.

You’re just a troll … just a kinder, gentler version of tbogg.

You’re a democratic party fan who is anxious to buy into their bullshit, so there’s nothing anyone can tell you that will ever change your mind that the ending of this drama isn’t purposely being orchestrated by your democratic party heroes and your enemies, the republicans, who they are conspiring with.

So, be rapt by the kabuki … and remain delusional. It’s your choice and obviously the foundation of your logic and perception is built upon the faulty premise that the democrats are always the good guys who have good intentions … no matter what they do.

And by the way, lbj played a very large role in the loss of life of a ton of innocent Vietnamese civilians and drafted American soldiers in a military action … like bush’s iraq venture … that was often justified by lies.

  • One of the biggest things that the Snowden effect has exposed is just how servile our media is to power. I knew that beforehand, but they are really embarrassing themselves and their pr work for our rulers is becoming very transparent.

  • Immature and obnoxious are two words that come to mind in that epic fail. I never liked her, but I’m still embarrassed for her watching that … she even pulls the old girlfriiiiend gesticulations … though it is amusing watching her make a complete ass of herself. She’s basically taunting Snowden for our rulers.

I don’t know how you bounce back from that performance, but it is msnbc …

I didn’t vote for him, didn’t think much of him, but never thought that he’d be as bad as he has been. I don’t think anyone did, though the folks with hrc derangement syndrome – the true kind – will probably claim to.

obama had complete confidence that he could screw over the american people as long as he fed them a steady diet of sophistication and fake-empathy. I think he’s beginning to understand the limits to that … I hope … though I doubt it will change much of what he does and who he serves.

Exactly, they are part of the worldwide rulers’ club … sponsored by transnational corporations and the bankers … and they like being kings. They are much more allies than foes. And despite their protestations for public consumption, they are largely in favor of the surveillance state … which Snowden has pulled the curtains back on … becoz it helps them maintain control over their subjects. They hate Snowden for what he has revealed and now they have to go out and perform for the public like they knew nothing about it and are actually upset about this. They knew about it and they benefited from it and the more they have to lie to conceal their knowledge of it, the more exposed they are to public outrage when and if those lies are revealed.

In regards to hillary, don’t mistake conscious … as in self-conscious … for conscience. She knows she can’t sell as well as bill or obama, she knows she is easier to hate … which doesn’t mean she’s any worse than those two, just that she doesn’t have the charisma they do … and she’s also more insecure in some ways than those two bastards are … she’s felt the wrath of the public, fairly, and even in some cases, unfairly … which means that she’s more likely to be influenced by the electorate than those two are, who think they can bullshit their way through anything.

I don’t like hillary, she is ms. dlc, another israel subservient politician, another corporate ho, and a warmonger … among her other undesirable traits … and completely unacceptable to be president imo. But all that said, I just can’t imagine her being more damaging to the average american’s interests than obama.

I’ve been seeing the next edition of identity politics coming down the pipe since 2008 … seeing the hillary lovers that hate obama all so anxious to jump aboard much of the same policies as long as it is hillary dishing them out. Her true-believers are just as fervent and illogical as obama’s and I’ve been bashing those dumbasses for a while, though I have to say that I can’t imagine hillary being worse than this bastard.

But to tell you the truth, I don’t think that she is going to win in 2016. I think that obamacare will end up being such a mess that, unless a strong third-party coalition develops between the right and left that significantly changes the playing field, a republican will win in 2016 just by promising to repeal the damn thing. One of the things about obamacare is that it can legitimately piss people off from all sides of the spectrum, from the right that don’t want the irs up their ass, to the left that don’t like handing their money over to corporations (well, that applies to everyone), to everybody that doesn’t like having to dish out money for something … under the gun of the irs … that’s going to be an expensive, confusing, stress-inducing, shit system/product that’s going to be worse for most folks than the current one.

I think obamacare is going to be a complete disaster … which should be expected from a corporate lobbyist written bill that is 2700 pages long.

The republican voters by-and-large believe this obama-socialist nonsense, as they have basically donated their brains to the foxnews crew and the right-wing talk show radio hosts. The “opinion-makers” on the right … the kochs, the petersons, the murdochs, etc. … don’t believe this shit and neither do the majority of the republican politicians. But they got the base in line with it, and got them so confused that they have equated socialism with fascism.

obama likes this mischaracterization of him as a socialist … because then he revel in the of the right’s lack of reason and can easily discredit them to his base, which are always anxious to feel superior to the right-wingers. What obama hates is the more accurate label of him as a fascist, because that plays well with no crowd and shows that people are actually on to his sorry act.

I voted Green too. I can’t vote for either one of these parties and still retain any self-respect.

I warned my demo-zombie former friends, who fancy themselves as liberals/progressives, back in 2008 about obama, but they were in love … and still are for the most part. You should have saw them when he won in 2008, dancing around, reveling in their self-perceived belief of their moral superiority for voting in the first black president, looking like a bunch of idiots. And they’ve been dancing around the facts about him ever since, still trying to hold onto that magical moment …

I didn’t vote for obama … that warrantless wiretapping turnabout sickened me … and I did not think much of him going into his presidency. But I never thought he’d be this bad. The audacity of his hypocrisy is just amazing.

obama: not just a terrible president, but a horrible human being.

This is tangential to this post, but I just thought of an excellent way for us subjects to ridicule and taunt our rulers: wear Edward Snowden masks!

Cause we are all Edward Snowdens now …

    Z

  • Our rulers are hoarding their subjects’ personal data … saving it … so that if you create problems for them or their corporate sponsors they can go back and retroactively figure out how to best put the squeeze on you. With so many laws in this country … and, in particular, the extremely vague and expansive terrorism and internet piracy laws … it has been said that the average citizen/subject commits three felonies a day. So how hard is it going to be for the government to gin up serious charges against you when they have all this data that is related to your past actions? Or how hard is it going to be for them to find embarrassing personal information on you that they can use to pressure you to turn on people or agree to stop being such a nuisance to them and their corporate pals? Or how hard is it going to be to find embarrassing or incriminating information about someone that you care about that they can use to pressure you? This is part of reason that they are doing this data hoarding.

“Keep in mind the people spying on Americans breaking all the laws of our forefathers, went to USA elementary, middle, high school, probably watch USA football games, etc. etc.”

Yeah, well most of them grew up here … as well as many of the people in the u.s. who do not spy on americans … so it doesn’t necessarily mean those factors are the causes.

But I don’t disagree with much of Carlin’s rant. Though I think term limits would do some good becoz it would break up the country club on capitol hill a bit and we would get people that are less experienced … and hopefully less adept … in the fine art of fucking over the american public.

I give obama “credit” for dutifully serving his own future financial interests and his corporate and plutocratic sponsors’ interests. And I give you “credit” for being a hypocrite, which is pretty obvious from your logical inconsistencies.
