WHEN: SATURDAY 11/15
10:30am West Coast
11:30am Mountain
12:30pm Central
1:30pm East Coast
Here’s the deal, go to this site and see if there is a event in your area.
If not then;
A. Organize a protest if you have the time and contacts
B. Contact you local Gay and Lesbian Community Center with this info.
Last night I sent the link to the William Way Community Center in Philly. I got a response this morning that they were getting questions about it. Tonight a protest is set up in Philly for Saturday at 1:30 pm at City Hall.
Community centers should be well versed in permits, laws etc. since this is a tight turnaround, it would be best to consult a center if you can.
If not make some calls to your municipal officials and get the information you need to organize a peaceful and productive protest.
There is a Facebook group set up called Vote NO on Prop 8- Everyone deserves marriage equality which sent out an announcement about this.
If your on Facebook go the Events and search Join The Impact, as of the time I wrote this, there are 87 events listed.
Spontaneous passionate action creates magic.

Oone of the commenters on the LA Times blog that’s discussing the protests was going on about how its rights were violated by four judges, and so on. I pointed out that that knownothing’s rights have never been violated, that they’ve been doing all of it and lying into the bargain. Also suggested they check out the 1st amendment and the gospels, to see what the standards really are.
(I was just a bit ticked, yes.)
The problem with the protests in LA is that they tend to jam traffic in areas where the traffic is already bad, and that doesn’t make people want to join up.
