The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) was founded on 5 May, 1919, in Paris, France. Today, it is the world’s largest humanitarian network, with 186 Member Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and nearly 100 million volunteers. ………On 5 May, the International Federation will present the global campaign launched jointly with the International Committee of the Red Cross, called  “Our world. Your move” at a press conference. Through a dedicated and interactive website and a series of commemorative events in Paris, Solferino and Geneva, the campaign invites people from all over the world to engage in humanitarian action, because in today’s world, mutual support has become a necessity and humanitarian issues are everyone’s concerns.
