This morning’s post seems to have disappeared into the ether! It was scheduled for 7:45 a.m. Eastern. I’ve emailed Kit for help. Meanwhile, here’s a temporary gathering place for a Friday morning chat until the problem is resolved.
NOTE: THE OTHER POST IS UP. PLEASE GO THERE FOR LOTS MORE!!

Good morning, Firepups. Apparently a technical glitch of some kind eated my post. Hope it can be found, because it was interesting.
My battery is about to go, so I’ll check back later. Good morning, and Good luck :)
Did you say something mean about Jane or something nice about Boehner?
Boxturtle (Or maybe did you do something to annoy Kit?)
The dog ate my homework…..
I was just about to email you msmolly :) Thanks for the post and host.
Oh I hope not.
Something nice about Boehner? What I’d say about the orange one wouldn’t be printable.
I have a commute of just over an hour to work, most of it on I71. I wonder how much carbon we could save by just having a freight train that ran along the highway from Cleveland to Cincy. That road is full of long haul trucks and trains are so much more efficient.
Boxturtle (And it ain’t like there ain’t room for the line)
I may start keeping an offline copy of my posts. It will be difficult to recreate this one (but not impossible).
LOL.
It does take some skill to discuss Boehner in words and phrases acceptable for family reading.
Here’s why he keep’s getting re-elected. His district carefully excludes areas that might not support him.
Boxturtle (I’m sure he’s the only GOPer who needs that kind of protection)
Good morning everyone.
msmolly thank you for the post and I will look forward to when your prepared post comes up.
Not to worry, you still gave us an avenue to communicate with our friends today.
Morning, and rabbit rabbit! first of the month thing, msmolly must do this next time, the rabbit deities are obviously irritated. Maybe sacrifice of a token carrot?
When I lived in Cincinnati I used to take I-71 to Columbus to visit a friend. And years ago when I lived in Columbus, I wasn’t too far from I-71.
They could put high speed rail along I-75 too. That would help our carbon situation.
You don’t believe that do you? Check the gross weight on the side of a RR car, multiply by the number of cars, recheck the math. That move one ton of freight 500 miles on one gallon fuel commercial is a prime example of BS and it’s been hitting a nerve with me ever since it came out.
Well I couldn’t just let us hang around outside “the diner” in the cold, now could I?
*rummages in the fridge for a carrot for the rabbit*
Your computer’s History might have the posts that you put in links to for recreating much of it.
But I see trains with stacked trailers of freight cars. Aren’t those kinds of trains taking all those trucks off the road?
Good Morning, All
From wikipedia, the origin of saying Rabbit Rabbit.
Oh, I never believed that number. But I do think that rail costs less per ton/mile than trucks over long distances. Each rail car can carry 2 semi’s as drive on/drive off, but could probably load 3-4 semi’s worth if packed separately.
And anything that removes trucks from the mess that Columbus has at I70/I71/SR315/I670 will help overall traffic flow a lot.
Boxturtle (I’d like to see independent numbers. Both sides have incentive to obfuscate)
You grab the carrots, I will put the coffee and water for tea on the front burner.
demi, I missed you too, where ya been?
(Maybe you have been here and I missed your posts.)
I pretty much know what the links are (what they link to). And I have the photo. I guess if it doesn’t show up I can rewrite it for next week. But it wouldn’t be difficult to dump it into a Word document just before I hit “schedule” and at least if it went missing all I’d have to do would be re-establish the links.
I work on a post off and on over a few days, and my techie background means I save, save, save. All of those old copies have to be somewhere, too, unless they’re erased when the post is scheduled.
Oh well, we’re still gabbing. Who needs a post? LOL.
Oh, you know…I just have to take a break once in a while.
Think of that line from Betty Lou’s Getting Out Tonight.
She was bad.
Her momma got mad.
But, now her momma says It’s alright. :)
How you doing?
There’s some way to take your computer back to a day ago, too, that’s been done for me once or twice when things got really messy.
Thanks, how about sacrifice of a goat, too? anything to get things started off right.
Really. Anything to ensure good anything.
I’m going to do something different. Sitting here trying to think of a topic for tomorrow morning.
What do you all think? Some Of My Favorite Things or Spring Cleaning?
I need help.
Not sure that would help, since the post is entirely created online. There wouldn’t be much stored on my computer. And I wrote part of it on the laptop at the Performing Arts Center Wednesday when I was on my Docent shift.
In the Gershwin concert the choir performed a couple of weeks ago was a concert version of Porgy & Bess. I feel like singing, “He’s gone, gone, gone, gone, gone…”
How to pass the time if you happen to be sequestered?
Ack! Just seeing that word gives me the heebie-jeebies.
But, I do like the Passing Time aspect. Hmmmmmm.
Welcome back. How’s your world? We got the cold 30s here
this morning…but sun and will get warmer. TGIF, kids.
And Good Morning all….
Yes to you and msmolly. It does help reduce the number of trucks on the highways. It’s the blatant lie about the fuel usage they that drives me nuts. I’ve hauled a lot of those containers out of Chicago and Cleveland for a lot of years. That the train brings them out of coastal ports helps some what as I could stay out of them. It is easier to load the train than to have a constant flow of trucks in and out. Efficiency Rules.
A quick run over there… maybe Kit can chase it down, anyway.
Hi, Bevy.
It’s been very windy for a few days. I’ve mentioned before that I’m not real fond of blustery days. Something about the negative ions and my hard wiring. So, taking allergy meds and staying inside. I find that putting on soothing music helps.
What do you do to help your moods when the weather isn’t cooperating?
Thanks to Ruth’s suggestion, I think I’ve found an older version of the post, in my Firefox “history” file. It looks like it was scheduled for 8:45 eastern (I’m pretty sure I didn’t change the time, I only change the schedule DATE). So it may appear in the diaries list now, too.
At this point, perhaps it makes more sense just to leave this post up and repost that one next week. SIGH.
Funny you asked…was in a yukky mood just yesterday.
Had a lovely and funny dinner with a very longtime friend.
Note I did not say “old”. Certainly worked.
Ruth’s a pretty smart chick. :)
It is Friday so it is a good day.
I may have missed you because I subbed last week and the first part of this week.
Great to hear you are okay even though it is windy.
OK, peeps, the other one is published too. So let’s go over there since it’s up.

Longtime friends can be the best mood fixer upper, that’s for true.
And, getting out helps too. Glad for ya. :)
I look forward to a day when you and I can sit down and break bread together, face to face.
Your sub kids are so fortunate to Have you.
Thanks….we’ve been doing a bit of that for a long
time;) Nice.
off we go, thanks.
