Uh, Shuster & Tamran don’t know as yet that the BlueDogs aren’t real Democrats ?
Geez David, we thought you were smarter than the rest …
Thanks, Neil. Very timely.
Jane was spot on, as usual. She seems comfortable with being on camera.
The end of bipartisanship ?
The public plan is this:
Everyone must buy health insurance.
Aetna stock goes up.
Stirling Newberry on TulipCare; the Netherlands is not a model for the US.
Socialize health care NOW..anything else is not acceptable. Anyone who wants to stay with private insurance is free to.
Anything else is Corporate Swindlers running the government.
dude in the suit was right at the end:
“the Democrats have 60 seats in the senate, they control the House, they have the WH, if they can’t pass a plan that 65% of the people favor then there is no hope for the Democrats!”
so true – but maybe the nuance is that there is no hope for the fiction that voting (D) will lead to progressive change – after all, they are continuing both of Bush’s failed, illegal, immoral occupations, they are ensuring the torturers and their bosses face no consequences, they are bailing out the Wall Street scum who crashed the economy with trillions of tax dollars, and they are trying to make it mandatory to pay premiums for crappy coverage to the insurance cartel!
oh wait, I forgot – they appointed one centrist to the Supreme Court – does that make it all ok?
Nanb, How about Medicare for All? That’s not socialized health care.
