It would have been fabulous if they would have left out all of the Bible endorsements. Or perhaps the implication is that those of beliefs other than Judeo-Christianity are not worthy, a suggestion I can’t completely rule out. These are times where most of our politicians wear their religion pinned to their chest as they unabashedly pander to the religious crowd…
I did have some second thoughts about posting it, for that reason. Actually, though, on my second or third watching, I saw that some of the singers were identified as Jewish, or Muslim, or maybe other religions…but they could have left the “Bible” line out and done just fine without it.
