What is the most important issue in this 2012 US Presidential Election? Does either of these guys even have a philosophy?

“There is only one really serious philosophical question, and that is suicide,” Albert Camus taught us in his absurdist essay The Myth of Sisyphus. Should I, or should we commit suicide? That is the most important question before us this Presidential Election, just as it is the most important political question we face every day of our lives; because, if the answer is “Yes, we should commit suicide,” then all the other issues pale in comparison. And if we go ahead and commit suicide, the rest of the questions will no longer matter. In a way.

In order to get energy for our nation, President Obama and his pretend opponent Mitt Romney are advocating burning Coal and Oil. They’re both advocating Onshore Drilling and Offshore Drilling and Fracking and Coal Mining Shale Mining and Nuclear Energy. During the most recent Debate President Obama (nominally the more Left of the two because he’s a Democrat) again attacked Romney from the Right, saying that Romney had once, as Governor of Massachusetts, said that a Coal Plant “‘kills people.’” The President’s meaning was already clear, but he went on to emphatically state that he would never stand in the way of Coal, because he believes in “Clean Coal”: There is actually no such thing as Clean Coal, yet the President keeps lying about this non-existent product.

Yes, Romney said Coal kills. And Obama’s EPA defined CO2 as a “Dangerous Pollutant.” This is what they both want to do to the children of America and the children of the world. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re not both laughing it up together at the electorate’s cluelessness: “We’ll trick the people in North Dakota into Frack-poisoning their own water!” “We’ll trick and intimidate the Coal Miners into killing their own children!” “We’ll trick the country into getting rid of its trees!”

So, the Obromneys have decided that mass suicide is alright. Let’s just ignore science and burn even more Fossil Fuels. Let’s burn Nuclear fires too, and tell them that it helps the climate. Yes, it’s true, killing off the children is how a society commits mass suicide. But I just don’t believe that it’s right, so I can’t go along with the President on this one.

Lund University in Sweden proved my friend Jack Herer’s hypothesis that growing Hemp for clean fuel on 6% of US arable land would produce more than enough energy to power our entire country, with no net emissions of CO2 or other Greenhouse Gases. Science tells us there is a way to get our energy without committing suicide. But President Obama says we should commit suicide by superstitiously burning more of these Fossil Fuels that are destroying the delicate climate balance that has kept humans as the dominant animal species on the planet, for the last hundred centuries.

Hurricanes usually turn right, as this one is doing now. Global-Warming Hurricane Sandy is turning away from the United States, and to this experienced hurricane watcher, it looks like “she” could miss us. But some companies have invested in this “disaster,” and want you to spend money on it.

That’s when I breathed a major sigh of relief, because, as far as I know, President Obama has never told the truth about Climate Science in his life. Highest sustained winds have dropped from 110 early last night to 100 at 8pm to 80 now: Just barely a hurricane by that reckoning. It is traveling toward the US at 13 mph on a “315-degree” trajectory: 315 degrees is exactly Northwest; 360 is exactly North; 337.5 is exactly North-by-Northwest: These are numbers that indicate it will hit Cape Hatteras, the North Carolina coast, assuming it will turn right as hurricanes usually do.

If it continues in a Northwesterly direction it will make landfall before [South of] Cape Hatteras. A direct his on Hatteras could mean flooding in the Tidewater area of Southeastern Virginia, including most of the state’s largest cities, including Portsmouth where I was born and still have lots of relatives.

For a direct hit on New Jersey or New England, that digital compass direction will need to advance Eastward, toward 360 degrees then beyond zero:

The 8 am report shows that its position has barely changed in 3 hours, which is usually a sign of the hurricane building energy. Storm motion has further slowed to 10mph, and its direction has altered, yes, to the right, toward the North, and a little less West. Still 80 mph. The air pressure measured in the hurricane has raised/weakened, but just by 2 millibars, which is no doubt within the margin of error.

Trajectory at 7 am was 325 degrees: That’s exactly North-by-Northwest.

The 11 am report looks very bad for those of us here in the Northeast.

Hurricane Sandy’s direction is 350 degrees: A little to West of due North (which is 360 degrees – or zero degrees): If it continues in a straight line, it hits the Southern North Carolina coast. Since I posted 12 hours ago, it has traveled one degree North: 70 miles. Since 12 hours ago, it has veered to the West by two tenths of a degree: That’s a little better for our chances here in the Northeast of avoiding landfall in New Jersey or Long Island.

Wind speed has dropped by 5mph since 12 hrs ago: If it drops one more degree, it will cease to be a hurricane. The measured air pressure has dropped since then, but only by an insignificant one millibar.

Direction is now 015: The storm has turned sharp right: 25 degrees to the right since 3 hours ago. This could be following the expert-predicted pattern, and would not be good for us here in the Northeast. However, I have to hope that such a sharp right turn means that it is turning right as most hurricanes do, and that it will head on out to sea.

It is now headed directly at Cape Hatteras: The storm motion direction reading of 015 is slightly to the East of due North, but way to the West of exact North-by-Northeast, which is 045 degrees.

As I reported 38 hours ago, the storm if moving out to sea, and is aimed at no part of the United States, and now it’s not aimed at North America at all, just out to sea. The fear is that it will react with the cold front sweeping Southward through our country to cause a super storm. And saying such things sells a lot of soap. And even more Oil, Coal, and Natural Gas.

The Storm motion is the compass direction. 000 or 360 is North. 180 is South. 90 is East. 270 is West. The digital indication tells more precisely what direction the storm is headed. It is headed out to sea and currently turning right, to the East, away from the United States. It is still possible that this hurricane will turn back to the left/West. If the storm does start to turn back toward this country, I will let you know in real time in the Comments section below.

But notice that since 11 pm two days ago, wind speed has remained a steady 75 mph (the minimum wind speed to maintain a “hurricane” classification): If it dropped by one mile per hour, it would no longer be a hurricane. If the weather service were to have already admitted that it’s no longer a hurricane, or that it’s no longer likely to hit the US, well all that money spending on preparedness will stop. Cristy and Obama will have to stop posturing trying to look Presidential.

The storm is now turning right as they usually do, and this last digital direction reading shows it going even further right. Right is away from us. If it comes back left, it could hurt us. I will let you know if it turns back left: That’s the only way it can hurt us.

Lower barometric pressure makes for bigger storms: Cyclones, such as hurricanes, typhoons, and tornadoes, are low-pressure storms, and they spin counter-clockwise if North of the Equator. Higher air pressure lessens the intensity of such storms. The pressure was going up early Friday morning, then it held steady from 8 am Friday to 2 am Saturday. Then it started dropping, a little. By 8 am Sunday, it had dropped to it’s lowest point. At last report, it had gone up by a statistically insignificant one millibar. I’ll patch in the 8 pm report here as soon as it comes in.

The air pressure has dropped by two millibars: That’s almost holding steady. The wind speed is still minimum for a hurricane. Tropical Storm Sandy is still headed out to sea. That 050-degree Storm direction is just to the East of due Northeast, which is 045 degrees. To threaten us in the US, it would have to turn left: It would have to rejust that compass direction back to the West of North: If Sandy now went straight Northward, it would be a direct strike on Boston. But it’s not doing that, it’s headed out to sea: It’s now not aimed at any part of the US or Canada. I’ll let you know in real time in the Comments section if it comes back our way. For now, it looks like we’re safe. Woo-hooo!

It’s quite possible that Tropical Storm Sandy is going away and can’t hurt us. Meanwhile, there’s a rigged Presidential Election right now in the United States. Get back to work on politics, my fellow journalists.

For a full 48 hours now the wind speed has not wavered from 75 mph – the minimum hurricane-speed wind. The pressure has remained 950 millibars since the last report, the lowest it’s been since leaving the Bahamas. Barometric pressure has not dropped significantly since 8 am this morning. The Storm motion is now due Northeast: 045 degrees: That means it has veered leftward by 5 degrees since three hours ago. It will have to shift another 90 degrees leftward to follow the path projected by the learn’d astronomer meteorologists.

If the storm proceeds in its current direction, it will not strike the mainland of North America, but it will hit Newfoundland. If it were to go straight North, the eye would cut across Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and then make land at the Maine-New Hampshire border. If, on the other hand, it makes the predicted 90 degree leftward turn, and if this 5 degree variance in the last three hours is the beginning of a turn that will continue for a full 90 degrees, then I’m in for a world of pain, because it will be heading right for the Eastern end of Long Island and Long Island Sound: That could cause flooding, even here on a little brook flowing into a tiny river that’s a tributary of the mighty Connecticut. A flood on this brook washed away a bridge and killed people a hundred years ago.

Don’t mistake this for sound medical advice. As cmaukonen pointed out in the Comments section below, I’m a blogger with an agenda, not a meteorologist. I am just reporting the facts as the National Weather Service gives them, and making a few points here and there. I don’t have training to calculate on anything other than those physical facts. So, I am only reporting those raw physical data. So, don’t accept this as good news – it’s not. There is opportunity to be hopeful. If at 8 am tomorrow the storm is still headed to the Northeast, that is further reason to be hopeful. If however the 11 am update tomorrow morning shows that the storm has missed its turn, and is still traveling Northeasterly, the learn’d ones may have wisely erred on the side of caution, and it might not come here.

Don’t start partying yet. Unless partying is your lifestyle. I don’t recommend hurricane parties, but no-hurricane parties are OK with me. For now, I’m hunkered down and harboring cautious evacuees, but if the storm makes that 90-degree turn, we may all have to evacuate to someplace not on the water.

Overnight, Hurricane Sandy turned left, more Westerly: Back toward the East coast of the United States, much like meteorologists had forecast. The storm has turned left by a reported 75 degrees: Thats 75 degrees of the forecast 90 degree turn already accomplished, by the predicted time, 8 am. Winds remained at 85 mph all night: Now Sandy is solidly a hurricane, by definition (Category 1).

Pressure dropped by 4 millibars in the 3 hours leading up to the 5 am update from NOAA, but did not drop further between 5 and 8. The storm is headed directly at Staten Island: If this keeps up, things could be terrible in New York City, Long Island, the Jersey Shore, Connecticut, Western Massachusetts, Vermont, and the next country up. I’m in Western Massachusetts. I’m watching closely. You should too.

My aunt lived in Beach Haven on Long Beach Island on the Jersey shore, the third house from the Atlantic Ocean. One day a big storm came by surprise, not a hurricane, a Nor’easter. I guess it was out of season, and the two houses between her and the Ocean were unoccupied at the time. The storm washed those two houses away as my aunt watched from her house.

For years, in fact, for decades those two lots sat vacant with their mostly-flattened fences lying in the beach sand as a reminder to any prospective buyer that houses built here are destined to wash away. Eventually, of course, greed got the better of some builder/speculator, who built and sold houses there to unsuspecting pigeons whose houses will wash away someday (probably much sooner than other houses). Elliott read that little blurb in a comment, and right away reminded me that this storm was so big that it had a name: The Long Island Express, in 1938.

(Yes, my aunt weathered a storm as an adult, way back in 1938. And my uncle, her husband, fought in World War I. That’s right. I’m old. But I wasn’t born [not for 18 years yet] when that 1938 storm blew in.)

Troubled by what I said about President Obama never telling the truth about Climate Science? I’ll tell you what I’m gonna do: I’m a poor man, but I’ll put money on it: A guarantee: $100 to the first person who can prove to me that President Obama has ever told the truth about Climate Science. Here’s all you have to do to collect: Make a copy of the speech where he tells the truth: Include the date and location, and the chemical formula of the Greenhouse Gas about which he told the truth. (CO2, CH4, NO2, O3, H2O, SF6, NF3, Freon, or Ether.)

Include why you believe what he said is true, and please, include a copy of the entire speech: This step is crucial: You see, the President could just list a bunch of troubling facts. But if he doesn’t initiate policies that deal with those troubling facts, and if he was just listing them to trick people into voting for him, that’s what I consider a lie, not the truth. If anywhere in the speech, the President mentions Clean Coal or Clean Nukes or the need to Drill and Mine and Frack and Nuke more (as he always does), then the speech is a lie. This hundred dollars is burning a Global Warming hole in my pocket! Somebody please prove me wrong.

President Obama’s Climate-Science Denial and His Insane Marijuana Policy Spark Refinery Fire — by NormanB (“Deviations from the Norm”)

Refining Petroleum Oil is a superstitious act. Even if the President “inherited” his superstition and climate-science denial from George W. Bush, even so, when he (three-and-a-half years ago) swore to protect and defend the United States, he promised not to let anti-scientific superstition threaten our very survival, no matter how much the Oil companies are paying. If Oil refineries are still operating tomorrow, it is because we are all victims of corrupt politicians like Barack Obama.

It is time for the President to stop denying the facts of climate science. July, the month that just ended, was the warmest month ever. The last year has been the warmest on record. Drought and fires are everywhere. Burning Fossil Fuels (Coal and Petroleum products [Oil, Gasoline, Natural Gas, Propane, Butane]) causes Global Warming. Specifically, it causes the Greenhouse Effect, first noted in 1826, when Coal burning really got cooking, in the Industrial Revolution. The United States should use science to get Clean Energy, instead of using Bribery to get Fossil Fuels.

There is no Clean Coal or Clean Natural Gas or Clean Nuclear Power. President Obama is lying when he says that these things exist. These lies are killing people. The US does not need to burn Fossil Fuels or exploit Nuclear Energy.

Mining Fossil Fuels makes them more expensive. Speculating on them makes them more expensive. Printing money makes them more expensive. Every spec that is mined or pumped raises the actual price, because is less is left in the ground, so they become more dear.

Cannabis is by far the world’s richest source of Ethanol, a Clean Fuel that causes no Global Warming. Internal combustion engines can operate on Ethanol. Cannabis seeds are the richest source of Biodiesel fuel. All Diesel-fueled vehicles and Oil-burning heaters can run on Hemp seed oil. Power Plants now burning Coal can instead burn Hemp seed Oil, without causing any Global Warming.

Hemp is also the world’s richest source of Gas, but the Biogas derived from Hemp causes no Global Warming, unlike what President Obama calls “Natural” Gas. Hemp-derived Biogas burns without causing climate change, because, like all Hemp fuels, it holds only the Carbon that the living plants absorbed as CO2 from the air: Hemp fuels are Carbon Neutral. There are nearly a trillion tons of Carbon in the atmosphere. It is foolish, insane, stupid, irresponsible, and diabolical to add more.

Obama says he want us to be Energy Independent with Natural Gas, but that would kill billions of people with Global Warming, including everyone’s children. If we use clean Carbon Neutral Hemp-derived fuels instead, we can be Energy Independent and stop Global Warming with the very first harvest, two or three months from now. Hemp has the highest biomass of any plant; that is, more weight of Hemp can be produced per acre than of any other plant. Hemp stalks can be planted one inch apart, so that four billion plants can be grown per square mile.

But now the President is ready to start another Oil War. He’s got that superstitious Oil-drilling regime attacking the US Gulf Coast. And now he’s got Oil companies attacking the Alaskan coast too. Dredging our coast [which they do for offshore Oil] is an irresponsible and anti-scientific, criminal act. The US Military should be turning those would-be dredgers back. Why aren’t they protecting the integrity of our coasts? Why aren’t they protecting the American people from these attacks?

Martin Luther King would truly be ashamed that his state is so far behind. And Georgia requires well over 50,000 signatures to get Jill Stein on the Presidential ballot. Also, 1,500 signatures are needed for Kwabena Nkromo, candidate for Georgia’s House of Representatives District 57, whom we heard speaking above. Can we take no for an answer? Don’t we have to get these two reformers on the ballot, even in backward Georgia? Lots of people in Georgia smoke Marijuana and want it Legalized. Lots of people there want those Nukes stopped. Lots of people there want the stink of those filthy paper mills out of their air. This is who we have to reach out to, you and I, if we are to get these two true reformers before Georgia’s voters. And we can do much of it through the internet.

And that paper-mill pollution stench in Georgia and North Florida, that’s from using wood pulp paper. Books from the 1750s printed on Hemp paper are still in fine shape, but books from the 1950s printed on wood pulp paper are rotted away. We need to go back to the Hemp and shut down those filthy wood pulp mills. One reason they stink so bad is that wood pulp paper requires a dioxin-producing coagulant chemical bought from DuPont. Every rolling paper, every sheet of computer paper, toilet paper, all wood pulp paper, has to pay a share to DuPont. And President Obama frequently meets with high ranking DuPont company officers. We Freedom Riders and Virtual Freedom Riders can reach our target populations through social networking and through websites of reform groups. You can think of as many as I can. We need to stop Obama’s superstitious push to drill more Oil, in the Arctic, in the Gulf, and Fracking, a Pipeline From Nowhere! He wants to start a war with Iran to raise the price of Oil. And all this Gas and Oil and “Clean Coal” and “Clean Nukes” he wants us on, it poisons our children. Instead, we can grow Hemp, stop Global Warming, and be self-sufficient with out own energy.

President Obama’s dangerous Marijuana policy reared its ugly head in so many ways this week. You see, Marijuana is the key to our climate and energy needs. Lund University in Sweden proved Jack Herer’s hypothesis that the US can fulfill all its current energy usage and needs merely by growing Hemp for seed oil and biomass. As the 1932 US Presidential Election was a referendum on Legalizing Ethanol, the 2012 US Presidential Election will be a referendum on Legalizing Cannabis. We are that close now. Only seven states are not considering Legalizing this year – the other 43 and the District of Columbia are. (Did I say Colombia?!) (Never mind, I guess you’d have to be nearly as old as me to get that joke.)

When the US repealed Alcohol Prohibition in 1933, the voters didn’t have to wait to have a drink until the legislators in their state got around to Legalizing their drug of choice, Ethanol. Most of you know that it was Legalized by a Constitutional Amendment, which repealed another Constitutional Amendment. You may not realize that that repeal process, a series of Article V Constitutional Conventions, took only nine months from the first state (Massachusetts) until the 37th state (Utah) passed the Amendment, making it the law of the land. But still the people didn’t have to wait out that process. Because they had already forced the hand of the politicians. The people had spoken. On the Prohibition issue anyway, the people had taken over!

Prohibition of Ethanol terribly damaged our national and world economy and ecology. It corrupted diplomats, spies, businessmen, politicians, and police. Sound familiar? The Democrats and Republicans were both far-Right-wing Parties at that time. Both tried to keep Prohibition and its high-paying crime and corruption going strong. The Republicans were the Party of Big Business, and the Democrats were the Party of the Ku Klux Klan. Just nine years earlier, in 1924, the largest Klan Rally in history took place, at the Democratic National Convention. Then, five years later, the stock market crashed. Then, the people finally said “No” to the duopoly legacy Parties.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt bucked his own Democratic Party on Prohibition. He announced that he would be having a drink as soon as the law was repealed. But he didn’t have to wait that long. And neither did the voters. In fact, for the Prohibition Repeal of 1933, the celebrants didn’t even have to wait until 1933. Ethanol was de facto Legalized the very next day after the 1932 Presidential Election: The people had spoken: The people elected Roosevelt: The people started legally selling and using their drug of choice, right away, as much as they wanted. He said that because of these environmental Atrocities, humans may have only a 50% chance of surviving the 21st Century. Ignoring climate change is a real crime.

As I asserted in my previous article on the subject, scientists at Lund University in Sweden have proven my friend Jack Herer’s hypothesis that growing Cannabis Hemp on 6% of US arable land can produce enough clean energy to power our entire economy, replacing all current usage of Nuclear power, Oil, gasoline, diesel, natural gas, and propane; without causing any Global Warming! Cannabis fuels do not add CO2 to our atmosphere, because the only Carbon in biofuels is that which was recently absorbed out of the air: Hempen biofuels are Carbon neutral. If we begin growing Hemp today on 6% of our arable land, the US could be energy independent by 45 days from now, never needing Fracking, pipelines, Coal mining, offshore drilling, or onshore drilling. The bought-off major media keep telling people that they must choose the far-Right, anti-science, anti-Human-Rights, war monger Obama; or they must choose Romney, who claims to be worse than Obama. American democracy has never been in so much trouble. Think about it as if you were a foreign election observer, observing a foreign election: One set of campaign donors first funded George W. Bush, then funded Barack Obama, and are now funding Mitt Romney. At the same time, every televised news source (except Fox) constant tells Americans (in subtle and not so subtle ways) that they must vote for Obama, or they are doomed. Even Democracy Now! doesn’t mention Green Party Presidential candidates. Both Jill Stein and 2008 Green Vice Presidential nominee Rosa Clemente pointed it out to me: Democracy Now! doesn’t seriously cover the Greens in Presidential Elections. Google it. (They spoke to Roseanne Barr, as a novelty, once).

Jill Stein has just over 3 more days left to qualify for matching funds for her campaign. She is very close. If she gets it, she will be the first Green Presidential candidate to do so, quite an accomplishment in itself. If she makes it, the campaign garners more than one hundred thousand dollars in matching funds, to help get the word out. If she gets it, we might get legal Marijuana this November. Of course, the Obromney Republicrats have a lot more money than Jill Stein will get. But everybody knows that they are loudmouthed liars. Jill Stein is not a TV star. How could the Holocaust happen? Politicians were unprincipled. Voters didn’t care much, didn’t want to think about it. A lot more is at stake than just Marijuana. But Marijuana voters hold the key. Many people, like my friend Dick Evans, say it should be [or at least that it will be] taxed and regulated “like alcohol.” But Boston activist attorney Steve Epstein, also very important in the Marijuana movement here, says they should take it a step further, and make it “Legal like tomatoes.” Steve is right. Legalize it first. If we elect Jill Stein President on November 6, 2012, we can start legally growing it, smoking it, and trading it right away, when the results are announced, that night; because the people will have spoken!

Jill Stein needs to collect at least $5,000 in donations from each of at least 20 states in order to get the matching funds. She has already made it in eleven states. She needs just nine more. Call your friends in different states who care about these issues. The first $250 of any donation counts toward securing the matching funds for the campaign. Of course, she needs donations in any amount and from any state. How to Read this Map

A. Get so stoned that it looks like a map. All 50 states and the District of Columbia are situated approximately where they should be. Find your state on the map. Compare it to other states.

B. The caption for each state shows how close Dr. Stein is to securing $5,000 in donations from that state, and it shows the Marijuana legal situation in the state.

Line 1: Two-letter state abbreviation, followed in parentheses by the number of donors needed to put that state over the top, assuming that each donor gives the maximum of $250.

Line 2: Tells if donation collection in each state is: Below 25% of the $5,000 needed [<1/4]; around a quarter of the way there, as estimated by the campaign [quart]; around halfway there [half]; more than three-quarters there [>3/4]; or already over $5,000 [done].

Loopholes: (1) In Florida, prescription Marijuana is already legal. Very few people get it. Elvy Musikka, a good friend of mine who has severe Glaucoma, is one of the few patients in this country getting it prescribed. Unfortunately, it is the worst pot you can imagine: The males and females aren’t separated; it’s harvested by lawnmower; if she gets a bud, it’s by accident; it’s warehoused for years so that by the time she gets it, she has to re-humidify it or it won’t even smoke. (2) In Ohio, if you possess less than 100 grams, you cannot even be ticketed. Nearly everyone in Ohio has under 100 grams. (3) Here in Massachusetts, if caught with Marijuana, the culprit doesn’t have to give the police his or her real name, and doesn’t have to pay the fine. Another Massachusetts Loophole: If the person caught with Marijuana is using it medicinally for Asthma, AIDS, or Cancer, then the charges must be dropped. (4) Alaska’s Supreme Court ruled Marijuana legal there. (~5) Wisconsin’s Constitution provides that possession of Marijuana on private property is not a crime unless and until someone files a complaint. (Wisconsin is not marked as a full Loophole on the map.)

The only seven states not trying to Legalize Marijuana this year are Georgia, Louisiana, Utah, Nebraska, Virginia, Minnesota, and Wyoming. Even so, in all seven of them, Marijuana is by far the biggest cash crop.

Jill Stein is the best candidate in the Presidential race on Marijuana. It’s time to stop beating around the bush and end Prohibition now. Legalize it. Under present law, before it can be prescribed or used legally, the President or the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) must order it removed from the Schedule 1 illegal drugs list, which purports that the drug has no medical use. Marijuana is on Schedule 1, even though its documented use as a medicine goes back thousands of years. Dr. Jill Stein, MD, is a Harvard-trained physician, and teaches medicine. She is an expert on the environmental impact of pollutants on people.

In ten states, citizens will be voting on Marijuana questions this year. Other states came close to getting such measures on their respective ballots – came close, but no cigar. Certainly in all those states, there are people who would enormously benefit from Jill Stein’s increased exposure in the campaign, should she get the matching funds. For instance, Marijuana is on the ballot in Oregon, and Jill Stein only needs two more donors to put Oregon over the $5,000 mark. Now, listen, both of you, I want you to forgo that next ounce, and give that $250 to Jill right now. Do it. If you’re in other states, give anyway. You can check the map to see if your state is voting on pot, and what the Marijuana movement is like in neighboring states.

Eighteen states (including the District of Columbia) have Medical Marijuana according to law now, but the Federal Government under President Obama has been ruthless in cracking down on these law-abiding citizens. If you’re in Colorado, a state with a successful Medical Marijuana program, and an upcoming Marijuana Election, you probably want the Federal Government out of your hair, whether you’re a patient or a provider. Jill just needs six donors to put her over the top in Colorado. It could be you.

Twenty-one states have or had Marijuana Propositions in motion in 2012. Missouri, for example, has Marijuana activity this year. It only takes fifteen of you in Missouri to put Jill Stein over the top. The Green Party is all over the world. The established media will not report on this. We are the media now. It is time for the United States to join the Green Revolution. Let’s stop letting our country act superstitiously!

President Obama and puppet PM Netanyahu are threatening to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities with Israel’s Air Force. If these madmen carry out their threat, they will deploy the largest and potentially the most deadly dirty bomb in history against all American Military personnel in Afghanistan. NATO troops too. The biggest Friendly Fire incident ever! And that’s assuming that Obama and Netanyahu are not really as insane as they’re acting.

…Because “All options on the table” could also include bombing an operating nuclear facility with a nuclear bomb. That would incinerate parts of Iran and bordering countries. It would also poison us in this country – because the jet stream just keeps on coming. Or an “option” might be nuking something else in Iran. That would be irresponsible. And evil. And it would still poison our guys.

Besides poisoning all US servicemen in Afghanistan, this diabolical scheme will poison civilians in Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, East Turkestan, and probably elsewhere. If the US is willing to poison these people merely because they’re Muslims, then our genocidal impulse is reaching a feverish pitch. A Hate Crime in all our names.

And let’s remember just how preposterous this lie is: Obama, Netanyahu, and their propaganda mouthpieces claim that Iran’s nuclear program poses “an existential threat” to Israel. Of course there’s no proof that Iran is trying to build nuclear weapons – which Israel already has. But even if Iran had them, they couldn’t bomb Israel with them, for the very same reason: The jet stream would carry those charged particles right back to Iran: They’d be dirty-bombing themselves!

Of course, dirty-bombing one’s own Military is by definition Treason: Waging war against one’s own people. If Obama [or Iran's Military leader] does choose that option, it will be a clear case of Treason. Then, Senators Al Franken, Sherrod Brown, and others who got elected as Liberals, will be forced to either oppose President Obama for this Treasonous act, or join him in his War Crime barbarism.

East Turkestan, by the way, is  an occupied nation in the Northwestern quadrant of China. It is the land of the Uygurs, and it’s known in US propaganda as “China’s Muslim West.” Territorial claims of occupied East Turkestan and occupied Tibet comprise more than half of what the colonial powers [through international law] call “China.”

Most Americans have never heard of the Uygurs. Most who have heard just found out about them when Presidents Bush, and then Obama, ordered several innocent Uygurs to be held in Guantanamo Bay Torture Facility for years, as a favor to China. Four were released to Bermuda in 2009. Two were “freed” last month to El Salvador, a Fascist country. Eleven are still said to be warehoused at the G.B. Torture Facility. There is no proof that they are still alive.

MSNBC: Japan Decides NOT to Extinguish Fire Like USSR Did at Chernobyl — by NormanB (“Deviations from the Norm”)

Since its noon news today MSNBC has repeatedly reported  that the Japanese Government has decided NOT to extinguish the fire at Fuk U Shima, as the Soviet Union did at Chernobyl. In the Soviet Union, you may recall, amazing heroes braved the flames, went in to fight the fire, and lost their lives for it. One has had to wonder what would happen if we needed that kind of bravery in the United States. Now we have an indication. We will soon know what will likely happen here in the US, because, as we watch Japan, where no one is brave nor heroic enough to put out the fire, they are just letting it burn.

MSNBC keeps assuring us we aren’t in any danger, and that we should not take potassium iodide pills, which wouldn’t help anyway. And that, yes, some of the radiation will get here, but don’t worry about it. They say that regular Japanese people need to evacuate 12 miles around the site, but that US Government personnel should evacuate 50 miles around the site, and should take the pills that only seconds earlier they’d said wouldn’t help. Other nations recalled their personnel from all of Japan.

A US ship 100 miles East of Japan hove into a dangerously radioactive plume. In one day, the toxicity and danger had moved 100 miles toward the United States. Politicians keep assuring us that, as nuke money keeps pouring into their campaigns, the US will keep using nukes, no matter how bad the Japan situation gets.

Asked today at her press conference in Cairo if she were concerned about the safety of nuclear power here in the US, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton changed the subject and said that she was worried about our lack of an energy policy and our dependency on [foreign] Oil. She said President Obama had claimed he wanted an energy policy, but indicated that he must not have been telling the truth about wanting one, since he hasn’t formulated one.

Worst of all, the US Military-Industrial-Media Complex, sure that the nuclear radiation is coming here, keeps telling people not to worry about it. They should be informing us that the best way to protect ourselves from any charged particles headed our way in the jet stream is to eat miso and kelp. This treatment was proven effective in the immediate aftermath of the nuclear bombings at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Mrs. Clinton went on to pose a fake dilemma: That our country needs either nukes or Oil. The fact is that the chemicals emitted by current usage of solar panels and wind farms are the two worst Greenhouse Gases made, the ones increasing fastest in our atmosphere. The chemicals from wind and solar (Sulfur Hexafluoride and Nitrogen Trifluoride, respectively) now each contribute approximately 1% of the total Global Warming forcing since the Industrial Revolution. If each is brought “up to scale,” thus each being increased greater than one thousandfold, that would give us 20 times worse Global Warming than we have now. Those gases will be here for hundreds of years, the worst one (SF6), for thousands.

Japan Quake Fallout Shows US Severely Endangered By President Obama’s Nuclear Lies and Dems’ Abandonment of Clean Energy — by NormanB (“Deviations from the Norm”)

(What kind of a show job –?! I mean who? or how could somebody talk Japan as a country into heavily relying on/investing in Nuclear installments, after Japan’s unwanted experiments with Nuclear Fallout in Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Seems stupid, doesn’t it? Look in the mirror.)

Today on MSNBC’s morning news show, former Republican Congressman Joe Scarborough (“Joe the Dumb Guy” who replaced “Tucker the Dumb Guy” [McCain campaign personality Tucker Carlson] – on the show now titled “Morning Joe”) encouraged unthinking people to believe President Obama’s frequent lies about the Global Warming forced by Nuclear Energy usage. In the midst of horrific details on explosions and leakages at Japanese Nuclear Power plants, a talking head reminded us that we “still need it,” because it [Nuclear Energy] “has no carbon footprint.”

This is what you call a “lie of omission.” For, though Nuclear Energy does not leave a carbon footprint like Oil and Coal, it does leave a terrible Global Warming footprint from its Nitrous Oxide emissions. Nitrous Oxide (N2O) warms our air 310 times as badly as CO2, pound-for-pound. Energy investors profit if voters think that Nuclear Energy impacts climate much less than it actually does. And the Republicrat brand profits if the US public is duped into believing the President’s lies about Nuclear safety and lack of Greenhouse consequences from Nuclear Power.

For the umpteenth time: Nuclear Energy is a very dangerous and expensive way to boil water. To attain Nuclear Power, Uranium (sometimes mixed with Plutonium and/or Thorium) is dissolved in Nitric Acid. The resultant hot gases boil water that turns turbines to mechanically produce electricity. The Global Warming gas N2O was already emitted during the production of the Nitric Acid, long before the Nuclear Reaction that the acid facilitates.

Even the President’s own EPA (which lyingly categorizes both Nuclear Power and Coal as “Clean Energy”) cites Nitric Acid production as the third most prolific cause of N2O pollution, after Nitrogen Fertilizers and burning fossil fuels. Yet the President says Nuclear Energy is safe and it causes no Global Warming.

But remember what President Pinocchio said about Oil spills, and how we don’t have them any more, just days before the BP disaster. Then he allowed massive for-profit spraying of toxic dispersants, which will poison our lands, our waters, and our air for untold decades. He proclaimed Mission Accomplished, meanwhile lying about appointing an impartial decision-maker to get “fair” money to people whose livelihoods were ruined by the BP Oil disaster.

That man, whom President Bushbama claimed was impartial, was proven to be taking money from … guess who. His “fair” deals included paying desperate people off with one-and-a-half years’ worth of income for a business that had been in their family four generations.

Then Pinocchio’s FDA claimed that Gulf seafood was completely safe to eat, even though it never had been before, and even though the petroleum couldn’t have helped to make it safe. He claimed to be eating the tainted food himself, and he used his own children in a photo op to trick people into thinking that it was safe to swim in the Gulf. The photographer later revealed that the President’s children were never actually in the Gulf waters in the photographs. To top it all off, the EPA started P-ing on us again, claiming that the Oil is gone.

And some Democrats are screaming ‘What else can we do?!’ You mean: What else, instead of heating up the globe to the breaking point? Instead of endangering the public with danger Nukes? Instead of lying that it’s safe? Instead of sending in mercenaries to help Obama’s thugs murder democracy activitsts in the slave-state Bahrain? What else can we do?

You can do what I did. You can quit the Democratic Party. I was a lifelong Democrat until recently. But now, as far as I can tell, the Democratic Party stands for:

1. Torture;

2. Covering Up Torture;

3. Kangaroo Kourts wherein Tortured defendants plead Guilty to what they confessed while being Tortured (even though in legitimate trials with competent counsel in the US, defendents never plead Guilty);

Daley himself skated with $7.6 million in the Madoff swindle. Yep, he just made off with it. Morgan Chase made $1 billion. Hillary Clinton got some, but gave it back, and the President’s new “Competitiveness” nominee Jeffrey Imelt got plenty.

This means that Daley still has Ponzi loot: His $7.6 million, out of JPMC’s $1 billion, out of Madoff’s $65 billion.

“MSNBC-ing” is the type of propaganda that tries to make it look like the Obama gang of crooks is on our side, our good guys, looking out for our interests. It’s as if, like the Egyptian propaganda claiming that Mubarak’s Suleiman goon squad is needed to hold back the evil Muslims, the White House wants us to think that our crooks are the only possible heroes who can save us from the bad Republican Cheney TeaBag Beck.

So, not only did MSNBC (in a partisan move) refuse to air Michele Bachmann’s alternative State of the Union response (as it had aired Senator Obama’s alternative State of the Union response in 2006), Chris Matthews (apparently trying to out-juvenile the newly removed Keith Olbermann) called Ms. Bachmann a “Balloon Head!” and told her “Go back to grammar school!”

At the exact same time that the President tapped Imelt to “oversee” “competitiveness” (or overlook the lack thereof), Imelt’s firm dumped Olbermann, and at the same time Comcast announced its working relationship with MSNBC (further limiting competition, but making profit for the Administration’s cronies) … as Rayne pointed out:

Speaking of Conflict of Interest: Both GE and Morgan Chase are heavily involved in the Nuclear industry and the Wind industry, two of the dirtiest forms of energy generation. When Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show comes on, a Wind Farm masquerading as Clean Energy steps up to fight for GE/JPMC energy profit, and supposedly against the bad Republican Cheney TeaBag Beck. The President frequently lies about both Wind and Nuclear being “Clean.” He claims that both are free of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, and that they therefore help fight Global Warming. This is completely false.

For details on the emissions, use the fdl search window and search “normanb ghg nuclear wind.” Wind energy causes massive emissions of the worst GHG known, Sulfur Hexafluoride, or “Air Jordan.” One pound of SF6 warms our planet more than 17 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2); and 20 million pounds of it are made every year. The so-called “Smart Grid” is stupid, but, hey, it makes money for the President’s men.

Nuclear Energy causes massive emissions of Nitrous Oxide, which is 310 times as bad as CO2. Yet President Obama had the EPA reclassify it officially as “Clean Energy,” just as he did for “Clean” Coal. President Obama even appeared on a TV commercial for Clean Coal, just weeks after taking office, just days after the Coen Brothers had released a widely circulated commercial reminding us all that Clean Coal doesn’t exist.

Athough lying about climate and energy causes disease epidemics, insect infestations, and environmental devastation, even so, President Obama still doesn’t mind lying about climate and energy when it profits his allies. Just ask BP:

So, who’s keeping score here? Madoff stole $65 billion –> then, with Obama in the White House, and with his appointees in charge of regulating things, less than $10 billion got paid back to the poor set-up victims of the famous Madoff-Morgan Chase-Daley-Obama-Imelt Ponzi Scheme.

Where’s the rest of the stolen money? Well, President Obama’s sitting on $695,132 of it; or he was before spending it on Imelt’s and other networks’ commercials for the 2008 campaign. Secretary of State Clinton (who posed as an opposing candidate during the campaign) got $50,000; Chief of Staff William Daley has $7.6 million; his company JCMC, the President’s 6th-highest contributor, got $1 billion. I’ll bet others on the President’s top contributors list Made Off with some too! (i.e. GE, who gave half a million dollars!)

Madoff’s family officially got to keep $2.5 million of the stolen funds, but I suspect more of that money is still somewhere corrupting our political system. And Madoff’s son conveniently got dead a few weeks ago, conveniently partially covering up the White House connection. And somehow those “investigating” the killing quickly called it “suicide.” Never mind who’s behind the curtain. No reason to investigate this.

Oh, and let’s remember that JP Morgan Chase didn’t hire Daley because he’s a famous banker; he’s not. They hired him for the Organized Crime connection: They hired him to pull strings for them politically. And they sure got what they paid for: A billion dollars in stolen funds, out of which they only had to give the Obama cartel a few million. A body or two along the way. Banker plus Gangster equals Bankster.

The co-conspirators in this story, General Electric, Morgan Chase, and Madoff, together poured more than $1 billion into campaigns and political lobbying over the past few years, and lots of it went right back to GE and Imelt through purchase of airtime on MSNBC. And our President is in cahoots with these thieves. You just can’t make this stuff up.
