McCain’s relations with Latin America:
Speaking at an Americas Conference panel discussion Friday on the next U.S. president’s Latin American policy, McCain advisor Richard Fontaine started out by mentioning an old Brazilian flame of McCain’s, who recently emerged in the press.
”Talking a little about his personal experience, he was famously born in Panama and has traveled all over the hemisphere for many years.” Fontaine said. “In fact, I saw, I guess it was last week, that his old girlfriend in Brazil has been found from his early days when he was in the Navy and was interviewed. She’s a somewhat older woman now than she was then, but it sorta speaks to the long experience he has had in the region — in the most positive terms.”
Fontaine was referring to former model Maria Gracinda Teixeira de Jesus, who recently gave an interview to O Globo saying the former sailor was quite the kisser. According to McCain’s memoirs, `Faith of My Fathers,` they met in 1957, when his ship, the USS Hunt docked in Brazil.

Oooookay…so this is like Palin’s foreign policy and Russian experience, right?
So all sailors with a couple of days liberty in exotic ports of call–who’ve successfully picked up a local woman–now qualify as having “long experience in the region”.
Talk about lowering the bar. In a McCain administration, how many local women do you have to have picked up during shore leave in order to qualify for a State Department gig, or perhaps even ambassador?
They actually pay these people for these kind of quotes? Nice work if you can get it!
Do Liberals actually care who someone has sexual relations with? If so lets find out who Barack Obama has slept with or even “Partied with” when he was in New York, Harvard, or even in Hawaii. I mean his father …shew …was a polygamist not in the Mormon sense. His father was well fairly successful at the actual father-ship thing. Barack Obama senior had literally had a child in almost every port he visited. It was why Barack came into being. I mean he wasn’t actaully married to Stanley Ann when he cast his issue. But i sppose it could have been a Joesph and Mary immaculate thing…or not.
Hey, when I was in Italy, I picked up a few fotoromanzos (literally photo + romance), does that make me qualified to be the US representative to Italy? I mean, it’s not like I could read the words or anything (I remember one of the big phrases they used was “Ifix tcen tcen!!!!), but hey, I got the general idea!
