Would it have been nice for Jim Martin to win — yes. Did I ever really think it was possible — no. Martin ran a great campaign, but he was up against nearly impossible odds. If he didn’t seal the dea on Election Day, it probably wasn’t going to happen.

I’ve read in a few places the "what does Georgia mean" analysis pieces. The truth is it mans nothing. Georgia is a red state that elected a conservative Senator. That is nothing unexpected.
