it’s ridiculous the fairness doctrine was ever rescinded and it’s ridiculous to even consider a bill that prevents it from being reinstated, It’s also not a good idea for progressives to agree that the fairness doctrine is obsolete it is not
it is because there is no fairness doctrine we went to war, we allowed bush installed as president and people believe the Reagan myths like “he cut taxes”, it is because there is no fairness doctrine industry can buy our law
if the fairness doctrine were the FIRST bill obama singed it would be 20 years late in comming
