.
I was wondering when the republicanistas would discover the reason they are no longer in power.
Most still want to believe the myth that Rove is some kind of genius, in spite of the fact that he brought them to ruin, turned a "permanent majority" into near extinction and banishment.
It seems they are finally figuring out, Rove has no clue;
FRUM: Karl Rove has not had a great batting record recently. He predicted the Republicans would hold the House in 06, and was assuring Republicans they would win in 2008 so I’m afraid that this is a little over-optimistic about 2010.
errr
he also predicted a permanent majorirty, he also predicted a bounce back for Bush.
He’s almost (but not quite) as wrong as Krystol

Yes, “The Math” has proven to be largely theoretical. Not to say bullshit.
The big money problem in 2010 is good information. The GOP will be out of power and the party out of power can’t do favor for business like the party in power can.
The GOP is going to hope to copy Obama’s online fund raising success.
Lots of luck without a message that the majority of people agree with.
The everything is good news for the GOP bad news for Dems Karl Rove meme can’t stand for long now that the GOP is out of power.
Wishing stuff to happen and repeating it Visualizing Success does not give you a pass to ignore reality and substitute your own personal reality.
Maybe the Republicans will realize its about governing, not warfare.
Notice this is yet one more conversation about campaigning, as opposed to governing.
As long as the GOP continues to focus on ‘message’ and ‘money’ and other imagined problems, they’ll remain inept. Maybe if they ever got around to seeing government as something apart from one big ATM machine, they’d be more competitive.
But if the Dems think that people will support them in 2 years without significant progress on key issues, they’re going to be taken to the cleaners.
