just five states, collectively containing about 2 percent of the American population, have statistically significant pluralities of adults identifying themselves as Republicans. These are the "Mormon Belt" states of Utah, Idaho and Wyoming, plus Nebraska, plus Alaska. By contrast, 35 states are plurality Democratic, and 10 states are too close to call.
Let’s send that off to the republicans and blue dogs who thought it was a grand idea listening to Rush.
Are they TRYING to destroy their party?

I don’t think that they are deliberately trying to destroy their party.
They are just doing what Republicans do. They literally don’t know how to do anything else.
I see it as a blessing right about now because the truth is that they ARE destroying their party, and not a moment too soon as far as I’m concerned.
The GOP is holding on to Rush because they want to hold 5 states? Or maybe the high Mormon population in those states are waiting for the second coming of Mitt?
Sarah will have trouble in 4 years then. Any reliable numbers on Bain Capital Mitt’s hedge fund?
Mitt has a lock on these 5 states but he can’t run if Bain fails. Because there goes his successful businessman cred.
I’d sure like to hear, from a Mormon with some depth of knowledge on the matter, what the Mormon/religious theological “reason” is for voting Republican so eagerly.
Inquiring Christians (like myself), and others would like to know. Honestly!
