   “Reminding people of the GOP’s long history of antisemitism is not an establishment media priority right now. ”

   I’d love to see a list of who runs Viacom, Disney, Comcast/NBC Universal, Time Warner, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Conde Nast, and the rest of our ESTABLISHMENT media conglomerates.

   They sound kinda anti-Semitic. Should be pretty easy to research, maybe 10 minutes.

   Who even has the courage to report back your findings?

   Per Fred Malek’s Wikipedia entry:

   In 1971, Richard Nixon became convinced the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) had come under the control of Democratic rivals and what Nixon termed a “Jewish cabal.” He instructed aides Charles Colson and H. R. Haldeman to identify a list of Democrats and “important Jewish officials” at the agency.[14]

   Malek provided the data on Democrats after a check of voter registration rolls, but balked at fulfilling the rest of Nixon’s query. “I refused four times. The fifth time he came back and gave me a direct order through Haldeman, so I gave him a number. I regret my compliance. It was a mistake.”[15] Malek did not have access to BLS employees’ religious affiliations, so his list comprised those BLS employees with “Jewish-sounding names”, and two months after he sent the list, two of the officials on it were reassigned to “less visible jobs” within the Labor Dept.[16] Slate columnist Timothy Noah, however, asserts that a September 8, 1971 memo from Malek to Haldeman appears to contradict Malek’s assertions of limited involvement, in which Malek states he has recommended to the Secretary of Labor “fairly drastic moves” including the “compromise” reassignment of three officials. Documents released by the Nixon library in January 2010 also appear to contradict Malek’s statement.[14][17][18]

   Seymour D. Reich, chairman of Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations during the 1990s, said “Malek made a mistake 18 years ago when he agreed to a regrettable request by President Nixon.” But he added, Malek “has taken pains to assure the Jewish community that he realizes his error and that he intended no harm. I believe he is sincere.”[19] In 2010, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Ca.) stated called Malek “a man of high principle” who “has proved many times over the years his loyalty to the highest principles of freedom, human rights and international tolerance.”

   It appears that this entry is the work of multiple contributors.

   I looked up the names of the CEOs of Viacom, Disney, Comcast/NBC Universal, Time Warner, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Conde Nast.

   Turns out they all share the same ethnicity, if you can believe it.

   Nixon sure was crazy.

   Question: Has anyone considered that these recent attacks against women in the political sphere perhaps be part of a much larger propagandistic scheme of creating an election year narrative where Obama wins/selected due to “overwhelming support by women”? Furthermore does this set up the system to make the next puppet ruler to be a Queen?

   As Timothy Noah points out, at least four people’s careers were truncated because of Malek — who, Noah makes clear, was not simply following Nixon’s orders:

   But here’s what Malek left out. Four of the people on Malek’s Jew list got demoted, with Malek’s active involvement. This is what Malek denied to the Post‘s Woodward and Pincus in 1988 (when Woodward and Pincus identified two of the four but were unable to prove the Malek link). “In no way did I take part in moving anyone out of the BLS,” Malek told Woodward and Pincus. “If I had even been peripherally involved or asked to alter someone’s employment status I would have found it offensive and morally unacceptable, and I would have refused.” Please note this comparatively rare instance in which a Washington hack tells a lie in the subjunctive tense. Malek was more than peripherally involved. And he most certainly did not refuse.

   The proof is a memo that was withheld from Woodward and Pincus but was made public many years later. The memo, from Malek to Haldeman, notes the imminent demotions of Harold Goldstein, Peter Henle, Leon Greenberg, and Ben Burdetsky. I have no idea how many of these four were actually Jewish, but all four names appeared on Malek’s Jew list. (Malek’s memo did not mention the 13 by name but a  different memo  to Malek from White House aide Dan Kingsley did. Shiskin, oddly, didn’t make Malek’s list of 13, even though he was BLS director at the time.)

   When you add all these details to Malek’s story, it acquires a very different meaning. Far from subverting Richard Nixon’s anti-Semitism, Malek enabled it. The fact that Malek later helped install the Jewish Shiskin as commissioner of BLS is not particularly relevant because by then Nixon had presumably moved on to other bizarre and/or hateful obsessions. (I’ve checked the unedited tape of Naftali’s Malek interview, and Malek doesn’t mention the demotions there either.)

   I dunno, my birthday parties (when we bothered with them) were always “hosted” by my parents. Even if Malek were a fine upstanding gentleman, the idea of a hosted party just goes to show how super-duper-rich and generally out-of-touch the Romneys are.

   I admit I had never heard of Malek. I remember Nixon, though. He was so fun to hate back in the day, but right now I’d take him over Obama or Romney in a heartbeat.

   As for Ann Romney’s birthday party, I really, really don’t care.

   When Malek was White House personnel chief, President Richard Nixon told him (via chief of staff H.R. Haldeman) to compile a list of all the Jews who worked at the BLS. (Yes, the 37th president of the United States was certifiable. He was also—despite his strong support for the state of Israel—an anti-Semite in an era when anti-Semitism was fast disappearing. For audio evidence, see “Tape snippet: July 3, 1971, on Jews in the Federal Government.”) Malek obliged; he counted up all the Jews in the BLS and sent Nixon the number.

   Fred Malek is also part of a group of men who were arrested after killing and barbecuing a dog in a city park in Peoria, IL in 1959.
   Malek and his buddies were reportedly drunk and covered in blood when police found them. Animal-cruelty charges were eventually dropped against Malek

    No the GOP has always held these views the GOP is trying to motivate their base because they are desperate to hold onto what they still have.

    Furthermore does this set up the system to make the next puppet ruler to be a Queen?

    No not unless the PTB create a Woman candidate to fight against the GOP’s war on Women are any Dem Women who are in position to run for President in 4 years leading the attack on the GOP and getting Press coverage?
    If so then maybe but I have yet to see this Queen emerge yet.
