Marjorie Holsten interviewed by The Daily Show
There are ten persons in the running to replace Tony Sutton, the failed taco baron who failed even harder at politics, as the Chair of the Republican Party of Minnesota. (Pat Shortridge did step in to serve out the remainder of Sutton’s chair term, but he’s not in the running for a full term.) One of these people is Marjorie Holsten, who you may remember from her appearance on The Daily Show as the outraged woman who objected to local 18-year-old Mike Stone — not her own son, but someone else’s — bringing an actress from adult movies to his high-school prom as his date.
Sally Jo Sorensen, who has another video of Ms. Holsten in action at her website, is rooting for Ms. Holsten to win. So am I.

She seems like a parody of herself. Just listening to her makes me wonder about the level of passing the bar exam in MN.
Considering that John Hinderaker’s done so, I agree.
Though to be fair to Holsten, she is merely the most amusing of the ten, and by no means the most hack-a-riffic. For example:
By the way, Ron Erhardt, the moderate Edina Republican who Downey toppled in the 2008 RPM primary for House district 41A, changed his registration to Independent in 2008 and then to Democratic, and ran as a Democrat in 2012 for what is now Edina’s House district of 49A — and won, easily beating his Republican opponent. (Paul Rosenthal, the Democrat running in Edina’s other House district, District 49B, won as well — so all of the tony suburb of Edina will be represented by DFLers for the first time in its history.)
Crazy in the eyes … crazy in the head
I was audio-picturing her with Michele Bachmann – aaieeeeee!
