Today is Saturday, January 3, 2009…which bunch o’BushCo is "eventing" in Blair House today?
For the last eight years Team BushCo has treated the treasury of the US as its own personal plaything. Breaking it totally in the process. So far I haven’t seen any news reports—just Lester Holt and Michael Beschloss tellin’ me Friday all about the historical significance of the Hay Adams Hotel and all the high-falutin’ people who have stayed there over the years just a stone’s throw away from the White House.
So maybe it seems a small point, but it is a point to ask:
Who’s "eventing" in Blair House today?

i’d sure like to know what is so damned important for these very special bushies that they cannot move to the hotel where the Obamas are having to stay instead. what a buncha bushie jerks.

I’m half a continent away from Blair House. Surely there must be some intrepid scouts or “journalists” in the DeeCee area who can tell us who’s playin’ on our tax dollars.
Unless, of course, those “journalists” are allowed inside for the quail wings and cocktail wienies this time….
