Federal Court Deems Solitary Confinement Of Mentally Ill Cruel And Unusual Punishment
The justification of keeping Bradley Manning in solitary confignment and under inhumane restricitions was a “Suicide” risk.
Considering that by todays psychology suicide is considered to be a product of an mental disorder ( even end of life decisions are contested on these grounds) would this judgement effect his ongoing case and appeal that his past treatment was cruel and unusual punishment?
