Court’s out for now! The Judge will make his decision on or before the Temporary Restraining Order expires ( TRO dated to end on April 9 th 2012). Although there has been a attrition of campers over the last few months, there still exists a core of commited Occupiers who will stand their ground as their First Amendment Rights play out in Court. In solidarity with ONH … Occupy Boston and Occupy Philadelphia come to the camp and offer their support. Every day forward will be a day of action. A must read … search for Occupy New Haven and choose ‘the walls come down ‘… http://www.newhavenindependent.org/index.php/archives/entry/

Richard – how many would you say are left? Are they still camping?
Brian … there are the orginal plantiffs 8 in number, possibly 12 or more! We have been getting vistors from other Occupys! Maybe I can report more after GA.
Thank you for the update.
Post General Assembly… Yale invited some of the occupiers to a outdoor reading of interviews taken at Zucotti Park and ONH. Sitting in the middle of Hogwart School like buildings as a backdrop and the students acting out the stories brought out the perspective that the Occupy Movement has had far reaching affects and will continue to do so.
Brian … returning to the camp after the ‘reading’ I was surprised to see active discussions going on about future actions in the community and plans for ONH’s 6 month anniversity on the 15th of April. After a media exposure that over magnified the social dysfunction of some individuals at the campground. It was business as usual… righting the wrongs of a dysfunctional World. It made me feel proud and more committed! You can take my tent but you can’t…
POST SCRIPT… yes there is 24/7 camping by ONH. And they are staying in place! The legal team which comprises of Norm Pattis lead attorney, Kevin Smith and Daniel Erwin are brilliant civil rights activists and advocates… they take the time to come to the Green and give encouragement and field questions. They walk the walk!
