Sidewalk Art; Bug with Artwork Creator

Since seeing that kids in PA have been charged with ‘attempted vandalism’ for writing on driving areas with chalk, I did a little looking and find that charges for criminal damage have occurred in instances of several Occupy activities where chalk was used.   No other instances occurred that I found, where criminal damage was charged, so it seems to be another tool for harassment of those seeking to fight back in the kind of class warfare waged by the right.

Here are some instances of the creative use of chalk.

While usually I like to give readers something beautiful or at least engaging to consider on Saturdays, today I want to throw in a bit of tactical information.   Writing on sidewalks can lead to arrest.   While communities encourage constructive engagement in sidewalk art festivals, it isn’t sanctioned when used to protect the world from wingnut domination.
