On Holiday Zero tells 99% to Help at “Soup Kitchens”

By: sadlyyes Friday December 27, 2013 8:42 pm

You were all enjoying or loathing the Holidays this week, but something struck me as so
Dickensonian by way of The Great Depression in its utter Orwellian Newspeak.
The leader of the WEALTHIEST nation on earth, which affords itself a say 700 Billion military
bill each year called up You and I and Joe and Mrs Sixpack to go HELP OUT at the local SOUP KITCHEN!!

THE PRESIDENT: That’s the same spirit of giving that connects all of us during the holidays. So many people all across the country are helping out at soup kitchens, buying gifts for children in need, or organizing food or clothing drives for their neighbors. For families like ours, that service is a chance to celebrate the birth of Christ and live out what He taught us – to love our neighbors as we would ourselves; to feed the hungry and look after the sick; to be our brother’s keeper and our sister’s keeper. And for all of us as Americans, regardless of our faith, those are values that can drive us to be better parents and friends, better neighbors and better citizens.

ah let them eat cake

this is while sipping cool cocktails on the beaches of Hawaii.
and nobody blinked an eye…that this miserable man and his extravagant wife have brought the word
Soup Kitchen back into the vernacular.

Hey Mr.Hopey Changey, gonna let the New Pope sound more humanitarian than your trifiling ass? (Pope speaks of a living wage)
WHERE IS THE SHAME for this country….soup kitchens that went out with END of WW2 are back in Vogue in the second GILDEDAGE,funded by Joan and John Q. Public
pass me the chocolate please if there is any left

OMG Dystopia is here to stay

Last night by accident,i came across an interview,on Roses show, with a hedgefund cretin who professes to be the most philanthropic man in the USA.His name is:

Stanley Freeman Druckenmiller[2] (born June 14, 1953) is an American hedge fund manager, he is the former Chairman and President of Duquesne Capital, which he founded in 1981. He closed the fund in August 2010 because he felt unable to deliver high returns to his clients.[1] At the time of closing, Duquesne Capital had over $12 billion in assets.

From 1988 to 2000, he managed money for George Soros as the lead portfolio manager for Quantum Fund. He is reported to have made $260 million in 2008.
from wiki.
He admitted as a child being a spoiled brat, that ALWAYS had to win in all games.Well not content to STFU and enjoy his billions,He is on a crusade (with Roses help) to reform SS,Medicare, and any help for seniors in the country, who he sez get THE LIONS SHARE of the American pie. This man is a sociopath.
He is going to colledge campuses and telling them the “seniors” are robbing them of a future.
This whole time doofus Rose does not SAY ONE WORD,about entitlements being earned by working people.
NOT ONE WORD.
The fix is comming my friends. And PBS will LEAD THE CHARGE

We must call, email, write,Rose and PBS (who think everyone is seduced by Downton Abby and all the lords of the manor)and tell them what an absolute disgrace they are.and that any sentient soul should boycot their programming.

Tennessee legislative committee kills bill to close Tennessee Virtual Academy

A state legislative committee blocked discussion Tuesday of leaked internal e-mail from the only taxpayer-funded, for-profit online school operating in Tennessee that told its teachers to delete students’ bad grades.

The committee then killed a bill that would have closed the two-year-old Tennessee Virtual Academy, operated by Virginia-based K-12 Inc., at the end of the school year. Moments earlier, the panel approved a Haslam administration bill that is the state’s first attempt to reign in the virtual school — but only after stripping out of the bill a proposed enrollment cap in the school.

….On Tuesday, Rep. Gloria Johnson, D-Knoxville, released internal TnVA e-mails leaked to her that in December instructed its teachers to quickly delete students’ progress reports for September and October, delete the grades of students on an assignment that a majority had failed, and to “please consider” counting only the final grade of a student whose earlier unit average was an F.

But when Rep. Mike Stewart, D-Nashville, tried to present the e-mails to the House Education Subcommittee, the panel’s top two officers — Reps. Mark White, R-Memphis, and Harry Brooks, R-Knoxville — immediately cut off the discussion and called the vote that killed the bill.

Here is more about the emails. They really did tell the teachers to delete the bad grades from two years and keep the good ones. The head of that school actually blamed it on the difficulty of handling student differences.

Senate’s No. 2 Democrat calls for cuts to social safety net
By LISA MASCARO AND CHRISTI PARSONS | Tribune Washington Bureau
Posted on Thursday, November 29, 2012

WASHINGTON — A top Democrat pressured fellow progressives Tuesday to consider long-term changes to the social safety net, even as the party digs in for a fight to save Medicare and other government programs from deep budget cuts.

As closed-door talks continue with the hope of a year-end deal, President Barack Obama will travel to a Pennsylvania toy store this week to pressure Congress to extend the expiring tax cuts for the middle class, while letting those for the wealthiest 2 percent of Americans expire. Republicans are similarly taking their proposal of tax breaks for all on the road.

At the same time, Sen. Richard J. Durbin of Illinois, the No. 2 Democrat, tapped his ties to the liberal wing of the party to urge a broader deficit deal in 2013 that would include trims to Medicare and other entitlement cuts.

“We can’t be so naive to believe that just taxing the rich will solve our problems,” said Durbin, speaking at the influential liberal group called Center for American Progress. “Put everything on the table. Repeat. Everything on the table.”

Pet food recall that won’t end? Diamond cat food now risky.

Pet food recall from Diamond Pet Foods has been expanded eight times, triggered an FDA investigation and critique, and now includes cat food. The company’s handling of the salmonella crisis may be even worse.

    http://www.csmonitor.com/Business/2012/0520/Pet-food-recall-that-won-t-end-Diamond-cat-food-now-risky

On Friday morning, the Calgary Herald in Alberta, Canada, reported that two cats in a Montreal animal shelter have died, and another is ill, after eating Diamond Pet Foods products. Also in Quebec, another person has been reported with a case of salmonella, bringing the total number of cases to 16 in the United States and Canada caused apparently by handling the pet food.

Also on Friday, the company issued yet another recall involving certain sizes of its Diamond Naturals lamb and rice dog food manufactured on Aug. 26, 2011, which is later than the date range for all its other recalled products so far.

One of the unusual aspects of this recall is Diamond’s release of information. On April 12, six days after Diamond’s first recall, the FDA began an investigation. Its week-long inspection of Diamond’s Gaston facility found numerous violations.

“All reasonable precautions are not taken to ensure that production procedures to not contribute contamination from any source,” its report said, noting that the factory’s screening process for possible contaminants wasn’t thorough enough.

Other violations: Factory workers were seen handling sensitive equipment with bare hands; there weren’t enough hand-washing stations throughout the plant (even in areas where raw meat was being handled); the factory used damaged equipment with holes and cuts, which would make the tools difficult to clean properly

    We Want CheneyCARE

By: sadlyyes Tuesday April 3, 2012 1:27 pm

Richard Cheney(who recieved a new heart via a million dollar transplant)

was on the government healthcare program since 1969

Cheney’s political career began in 1969, as an intern for Congressman William A. Steiger during the Richard Nixon Administration. He then joined the staff of Donald Rumsfeld, who was then Director of the Office of Economic Opportunity from 1969–70.

He was 28 years old.He also avoided service in his countries Patriotic Asian wars.He applied for,and was succesful in achieving 5 deferments.

He was famously quoted as saying,(as the great patriot he was) “I had other priorities”

I feel it uneccesary to document his evils, one may read this

    http://www.corbettreport.com/change-of-heart-the-legacy-of-darth-cheney/

So it is IRONIC,that he and his family, when handing out the THANK YOUS…forgot the main contributor to his CheneyCare health plan:You and me and all American taxpayers.

George Washington University Hospitals for the outstanding care they have provided,” his spokeswoman Kara Ahern said in a statement.

“As he leaves the hospital, the former vice president and his family want to again express their deep gratitude to the donor and the donor’s family for this remarkable gift.”

    An oldy but a goody

When,oh when will Americans demand the same care as they provide for their war criminals?

Expert: BP spill likely cause of sick Gulf fish

“I don’t think we’ll be fishing in five years,” he said. “My opinion.”

He, like many others that fish the Gulf waters, have started catching fish with sores, fin rot, and infections at a greater frequency than ever before.

    -snip-

Jim Cowan, professor of oceanography at Louisiana State University, has analyzed many of these diseased fish.

“When one of these things comes on deck, it’s sort of horrifying,” Cowan said. “I mean, there these large dark lesions and eroded fins and areas on the body where scales have been removed. I’d imagine I’ve seen 30 or 40,000 red snapper in my career, and I’ve never seen anything like this. At all. Ever.”

    World Sez Obama Suks

By: sadlyyes Thursday August 11, 2011 12:21 pm

This is an article from the German Magazine Der Spiegel

MOSTLY EVERYONE on the planet (cept for socipaths) wanted Obama to be great,if not great than honest and decent,if not honest and decent better

better than G.W. Bush…..well well read the article

    heres a snip

Obama’s election was the self-affirmation of a nation that wanted to prove that the American dream was still alive. Not voting for Obama would have been cynical, timid and un-American.

The world also had high hopes for a changed America, a country that would be less militaristic than it was under his predecessor, George W. Bush, and one that would pursue smarter policies, both in dealing with the Islamic world and on issues of environmental protection and climate change.

This wasn’t just wishful thinking on the part of his voters or his foreign admirers. In fact, it consisted of tangible promises Obama had actually made. Again and again, he talked of uniting the country and even healing the planet.
