  Well, he threw SOMETHING into the pot, but I couldn’t tell what it was (there’s a splash up, but you can’t tell what he tossed in).

  Of course, the boiling frog theory only works if the frog can actually jump OFF of something (if you use deep water, the frog can’t reach bottom, so no jumping out). Come to think of it, his analogy does kinda describe the Repub position right now… they’re in so deep they can’t jump out anymore.

  O’ course, the Blue Weasel Dems are pretty much right there with ‘em…

    After giving it some thought, I decided that Glenn might just be suggesting that the Left is in a big boiling pot and cannot get out. I’m not sure if I believe that, but the imagery is nice and comforting.

    As usual I’m not sure what he means or even think he means. First I thought that he was making the suggestion that Obama was hitting us with such big programs that it had the “boiling frog effect”…but that makes no sense…after all…the frog was supposed to “jump out”. The evil process was tepid water John McCain.

    Maybe he forgot the segué…”oooh, the frog boils…even when the water is boiling…we’re the frogs people!”

    But he said “forget the frogs”.

    of course he didn’t throw the frog into boiling water.

    I also, (forgive me) agree with glen on the tube;

    most republicans are in fact fake

    most democrats are in fact fake

    few republicans are really into “concerving” anything

    few democrats do anything but what the neo cons want them to do

  I think you mean psychopath, and I’d agree except a real psychopath would have already cooked a half dozen little froggies and moved onto small mammals. But, in contrast to that supposition, I have a theory that applies to many people on Faux News; the busy work schedule is actually keeping them from their true calling of psychopathic behavior.     What a tool.

    Beck’s froggy was too small I knew as soon he reached in and got that froglet that it was going to die when it hit the simmering water. You’ve got to have something to push against to jump out the water.

    Do we know for sure that a**hole tossed a frog into the water? The resolution on my screen isn’t good enough to tell. Maybe he palmed the frog?

    It looks like he actually killed a frog on live TV to me.

    That should be looked into for a criminal violation of FCC rules. FOXN should be fined at least as much for killing a frog as it cost for flashing a boob at half time.
