Happy Easter
A quiet week at Chez Tigre. I asked the tigerz if they wanted to dye Easter eggs and all I got was silence and weird looks. And I was gonna let ‘em hide ‘em too. Oh, well, they don’t know a good time when they see it. Two of the eggs that didn’t get dyed went for French toast this morning.
This week all I’ve got is an Easter Bunny Peanut Gallery.
I’m not a fan of colouring animals but these little guys are cute. (h/t Janis)

Hi all kitteh lovers.
Nothing new with Cahnstance.
I do notice, though, she likes to sleep in the room I’m in. During the bulk of the winter, it was the upstairs parlor, where my computer is & where I read. She started off there is morning, when I was drinking my coffee and doing some stuff on the internet.
I then went to the kitchen to do party prep. About a half hour later, I heard her feet on the steps, and into the kitchen she padded, curled up in her bed by the wood stove & went back to sleep while I worked.
Going to have about 20 bee people from 5:30-7:30p. Mike Embrey, from UMD, is the guest of honor; he’ll speak to the bee club tomorrow and maybe do a little presentation tonight. I’m serving room temp turkey, sliced to bite sized pieces (so no one has to deal with knives), warm stuffing, small potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce. Someone else is bringing additional food.
The turkey breast is out of the oven, cooling so I can slice it more easily.
I had it in the freezer, and I need to make more stock, so this seemed like the right opportunity to roast it.

I don’t know why the dirty dozen showed no interest in dying eggs. It’s not like my Hooman hands are stained purple or anything… Well, nevermind. I’m sure they’d love to share whatever egg dish you prepare for yourself.

Hi all, Happy Easter and Happy Passover to all that celebrate. Hey SD..those kittys in the pic I sent ya aren’t colored…they’re photo-shopped. LOL.
Be-ootifull day here in SoCal today. I’ve got a cat sitting in every available window, cept one. Ki-ke has chosen the front window in the office where the bird feeder hangs from a tree right outside the window. And Yoda has the back of the couch in the livingroom where he can survey the entire yard, Coop has the window in my studio, mainly because he’s the only one that can jump that high but also because he can watch Daddy chop wood and the dogs play from there, and Rosie is at the foot of my bed with her nose up, sucking in the fresh air from the bedroom window…too lazy to actually get up, move, and sit in it.
Well, I can live with that. How ya doin’?

Yeah, here too. Cooper does his best to keep us amused tho. He is quite the character, he is. Damn little terror actually. But he’s still the sweet little lover he always was. Sometimes he gets out of control…he just has to be right up in my face and he doesn’t seem to care much if I’m awake or sound alseep when he needs his lovin fix. He’s received a few flying lessons lately…especially when he wakes me out of a ound sleep. Don’t worry, “flying lessons” only consist of a toss off the bed. Seems to be the only way he gets the message. If I just push him away he comes right back. Brat. HUGE Brat.

I feel bad for not having contributed more in the past couple of weeks. I only have the one cat and she doesn’t do many interesting things. Right now she’s watching me from the doorway and yawning.

Nagi has been a very good boy, with the exception of his getting on top of the kitchen cabinets. Like I’m ever gonna be able to stop that. lol He’s quite the lover. Wants to snuggle alla time.
Awwww. Abner’s been into da cuddles lately too. I think it’s partly because it’s shedding season. Heh.
Oh, yeah, with the warm weather the air is thick with hair.
