I wrote this in April at DailyKos when Obama and Rahm would not investigate Torture. We can now add more to this, icluding the Fraud at Fannie & Freddie.

Obama and Rham have reiterated that they want to look forward, reflect and no retribution.
Obama needs a clear wake up call. Impeach Obama. Do it now.
Obama and Rham have reiterated that they want to look forward, reflect and no retribution.
Oh really? When I’ve decided not to pay my taxes, then I can file a motion about equal protection saying "The Administration must apply the law equally to all (Equsl Protection). I should not be prosecuted for breaking the law, because now is the time for reflection and not retribution".
As can any other accused. Even better, following Dick Chaney’s example, I don’t even have to show remorse. This for crimes for which we executed Japanese and Germans after WW II, where it was hammered into us that "Torture is Bad, and was done by Evil People, who Need To Be Punished".
Oh what a tangled web we weave, when we practice deceit and hypocrisy.
Impeach Obama. Do it now. The Republicans will be caught between the rock of wanting to impeach, and the hard place of not wanting to impeach because the reason is to pursue the criminals of the Bush administration.

Impeach? Come on. You can be disappointed. Angry. But impeachment? I’ll start with Bush, thanks.
Obama’s failure to go after Bush should not buy him any slack.
Impeachment must be initiated in the House of Representatives, and there is a snowballs chance in hell they would ever do that.
These are worse crooks and disgraceful people than He is, so they won’t hurt one of their own.
Unless Obama is caught banging every babe He runs into, he won’t get impeached.
You see sex is the only thing bad enough to get people truely upset with a President.
I would vote to impeach.
I would also vote to impeach. I guess deceiving people in order to get elected (he really set a new standard for that one) isn’t enough, but I wonder if the backroom deal with PhRma rises to the level of collusion. You’re right, iremember- not a flake- but maybe after next year’s elections. Or maybe the stuff Rahm has done/ is doing will come out & be outrageous enough… These people freak me out. Just as much as Cheney. I really think there is a thread running through all of these admins that ties it all together.
How?
We can probably get the Republicans on board to get it started. but once they found out we wanted their heads on the block too, they would back out fast.
I think we would get farther with criminal investigations AND calls for impeachment. Not just the president, everyone involved.
Zero chance for criminal investigations of present and past administration officials with Eric Holder running a Justice Department thoroughly compromised by the Bush Administration and not doing anything to clean house.
Obama and Rahm have basically finished the job of concealing, legitimizing, and institutionalizing all criminal and corrupt behavior committed by administration officials. Government by and for the People has been replaced by Government by and for the Corporation. Representative democracy has been replaced by corporate neofeudalism amid the continuing annihilation of the middle class and I doubt there is anything we can do to successfully reclaim our lost heritage.
Nevertheless, we must resist because passive acceptance is not an option.
