Top executives at the talks included Sheryl Sandberg of Facebook, Tim Cook of Apple, Marissa Mayer of Yahoo, Eric Schmidt of Google and Dick Costolo of Twitter.
A more disgusting, despicable and morally corrupt set of humans we’d be hard pushed to find (with the exception of Mark Zuckerberg).
This is a list of people who believe you are meat, and need to be processed and fed to the ravenous dogs of capitalism as “productive units” to be exploited in their ever waking and sleeping moment.
The only reason they are meeting with Obama is that they are (a) Upset at the damage to their revenues and (b) Upset because NSA does not yet outsource all its activities and pay them extortionate revenues for access to the data they own about you.
It’s akin to having a peeping tom have the right to peek into the windows of your bedroom, and have the peeping tom publicize your use of the missionary position, how often, complete with the dates and times.
Their terms of agreement include that they will give you free service in return for information on your daily life – information which used to be private. Because of their seedy “terms and conditions” they believe they own your data and information and can sell your behavior to all and sundry – including government, political parties, other companies.
The next step of the NSA will be to agree not to spy DIRECTLY on Americans, and then to outsource its data collection to this crew, and the Telcos, and then pay them to host the data. Then the NSA can truthfully say “we neither collect nor store any data” and you, the “productive units” have no rights because you’ve given them away in exchange for that VERY EXPENSIVE “free service” that you get from Google, or Yahoo, or Facebook, or other web-based service. I think you’ll agree – that service is not cheap if the data you give away gets accumulated, cross-referenced, and put into multiple databases – then gets resold repeatedly, to anyone who wants to buy it.
I don’t use Google any more, I’ve deleted my Facebook and Linkedin accounts, don’t behave like a twit, but use a paid for version of Yahoo Mail.
My next action is to demand from Yahoo all the people who have my metadata. I’m in a good position because I pay for my mail service.
The rest of you “production units”? You are either PAYING customer for your services, or you are meat. If you aren’t buying a product, you ARE the product.
We still need a constitutional amendment grant one the right to privacy, both from the government and other persons.
