Senator Lieberman has made his position very clear over the past two years, while not investigating any Bush scandals from his chair of Homeland Security and Government Oversight. Why should I help Democratic Senators get to 60 if this is how they reward disloyalty?
None of my money will go to Jim Martin’s runoff race in Georgia if the Senate Democrats can’t withhold the gavel from Traitor Joe. It’s their move, really. What price disloyalty?
Will you join me in a pledge to withhold money from the Georgia runoff if Senate Democrats give Joe back his gavel? I plan a $100 donation to Martin’s campaign that won’t reach him if Joe keeps his chairmanship.
Join me, and put the amount you’ll hold back in the comments below. Thanks.

Dugg!
How much does netroots support cost the Senate Democrats?
We’ll find out. I know it sounds silly but 2012 can’t get here fast enough. Does HoJo being a sitting Senator automatically qualify him for the ballot in CT since he won’t be the Democratic nominee?
I think Joe would have to get a party’s nomination — being a sitting Senator didn’t entitle him to anyone’s nomination in 2006; not sure it would in 2012.
Connecticut For Lieberman? Not sure those folks would have him.
Would he run as a GOP?
Hell Yeah! What else can we do to hammer them about Joe?
I have about 100 left on my credit card. I really want to help the Senate Dems, but not if they weasel out like they have throughout the 110th Congress. NO MORE CASH For Senate Dems until Joe LIE gets send to the woodshed.
PS: recommended and DUGG
I’m not holding a lot of scratch over their heads, but a bunch of us together could make some noise, don’t you think?

Thanks, neuro!
OK, Teddy, I’ll match you $100. If the Senate Democrats leave Lieberman in his chair, I save $100. Otherwise Martin gets it.
Cool! Maybe other folks with blogs will chat up the idea?
These are people who have been on their knees so long that it’s very difficult for them to stand up.
But that’s a good reason for us to show them what a backbone looks like, don’t you think?
We should make our donations contingent on their treatment of Holy Joe.
No gavel, we donate. Gavel, we don’t.
I’d say leave Joe out of the decision to donate or not. He makes everything about HIM as it is. I’m sure he’d love to know he had some influence in the defeat of a Dem. If the Dem Caucus pulls his gavel or not, other candidates can still use help. The pressure needs to go on the Dem Senators, and as Jim Martin is not a Senator (yet), he’s a bystander who needs help.
If it wern’t so sad, it’d be funny that you Dems are waking up to the reality, that Obama is just “war-business” as usual. Lieberman was his protege, a couple years ago. Obama supported Lieberman against Ned Lamont until about a week before the 2006 election. Glad I didn’t drink the Kool-Aid and vote for that phony (Obama)
Your facts are wrong. Obama supported Lieberman in the primary, like every other Democrat in the Senate, but after the Democratic primary he lent support to Ned Lamont.
Well, I just disagree here. I don’t see the logic of punishing Jim Martin because you don’t like Harry Reid.
