Every presidential candidate on the stage, except one skinny Hawaiian-born young fellow with a funny name, thought this line was a laugh riot on December 13, 2007: "Well, Hillary, I’m looking forward to you advising me as well."
Today, as Barack Obama names his national security team, Hillary Clinton leaves her elective office behind for a new chapter in her life — one that provides her with new vistas and opportunities, new challenges and difficulties, and, all people of good-will hope, a new chapter for successful American diplomacy.

Very appropriate. I share you thoughts here Teddy.
She will need all her intellect, which is considerable, to do this job. I wish her well and hope that she will do as well as we know she can.
Maybe it’s my imagination but I’d swear Obama looked markedly younger at that time. To be fair, I feel as if I’ve aged about 20 years during the same period.
Recommended and Dugg, Teddy.
what an unusual qualification Obama has on his check list, completely detached from the previous administration;
“intelligence”…I wonder if that stuff might come in handy
Not exactly today, hillary has wisely chosen to wait conformation before she gives up her senate seat
