   Wow, it sounds from Keith Olbermann like Eric Cantor has a whole series of problems in addition to confusing property taxes as the source of the “bailouts” — when he says taxpayers are asking “where’s my bailout” he neglects to inform us that his wife’s bank employer received $267,000,000 in bailout money.

    i like the news, and i like when it was posted in comments that jane was on msnbc, but i have a problem with how it is posted—-i wrote a letter earlier tonight about why and since it has come up again, i fwould feel less than honest not to post it now..

    i just wrote a letter earlier tonight how front pagers shouldn’t be allowed to hog the oxdown menu…..oops. not ok. . sorry, but if i was a front pager i would be posting through firedoglake and not eliminating posting possibilities for others.
    every time a front pager posts, it knocks off a post by someone who spent housrs on it, and it’s not right.you already have a forum. oxdown is our only forum. and to spend days on a post and have it knocked off within hours by front pagers is just not right.think about it, it isn’t. if i were in your position, i wouldn’t in a million years do it. it’s greedy.

    i spent four days on a post only to have it knocked off in a day. it was at the top of the top ten, but once it was knocked off of the reading list, noone could read it. i quit putting the effort into writing a post after that. i don’t care about being in the top ten, i care that someone has a chance to read it. every one of my oxdown posts made it to the top ten, that’s ok, in fact, that was wonderful, but what bothers me is how many posts i have missed because they get knocked off so quickly. why are front pagers feeling it necessary to post on oxdown when they have the luxury of being a front pager already? are there some things you can’t post as firedoglake and need to post them in oxdown?

    here is my oxdown list, i would rival anyone to say that my most perfect efforts were not put into them…read my posts, follow my links, it took a damn lot of time to do them….when i realized how quickly we were bumped- notice i stopped writing them….what a waste…not just for me, but anyone else who thinks it mattered.

    and i don’t get why firedoglake front pagers are posting on ‘oxdown’ when they have a forum as front pagers on firedoglake…it chases the ‘others’ off of the menu too quickly, front pagers already have a ‘voice’ and a place to post it, everyone else is using oxdown as their opportunity to be heard. people spend time making a post and it gets bumped before anyone has a chance to read it because front pagers are also posting there, i don’t get it, they already have a forum….i’d think that one over again. it’s like having the coach play. or an essay contest where the teacher gets to enter. they already have a forum. if i was a front pager, i wouldn’t post on oxdown for that reason. seems a little greedy to me.

  Look…think about it…Christy has her own “thing”…and some of her posts only have 5 comments….Maybe there is so much to read, and sometimes the “crowd” ends up on a particular post, but there are tons of great reads out there, including the ones you’ve worked so hard on. Just gently sayin’.

    Republicans like Guys like Cantor no substance but a big mouth. They usually run them for president. He fits right in with Eagle Beak and Boner to fill out how dumb a person we can get to run our party. Steel who is there parties leader is an other example. If one ever really listens to him the talk is their but the brianpower behind it lacks alot. The republicans like all the kooks like Limbaugh Hannity. They follow preachers who cry when they get caught sinning. They defend the crooks and bums they elected to the end. They claim to be moral conservative honest and smart so they should run the Country. Yet all of those things have been proven to be wrong. Yes we will look to them to solve all the problems they caused.

    Cantor is a sneery little hypocritical pr*ck. The stuff he comes up with is outrageous. If he’s the best they’ve got in upcoming leaders, they are in big, big trouble.
