Here’s the wrapup schedule, essentially what to expect on Wednesday in the last inning of the federal trial in San Francisco on the constitutionality of California’s Proposition 8 that made marriage equality illegal.
Our liveblogging will resume tomorrow (Wednesday 6/16) at approximately 10am pacific time; we’ll have posts for you at The Seminal (Teddy) and at Emptywheel (Marcy and Bmaz). For your reference, here’s what we expect the schedule to look like (all times pacific/FDL, so please don’t expect any liveblog posts before 1pm eastern time!):
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM Plaintiffs (argued by Ted Olson and David Boies)
11:30 AM – 11:45 AM City and County of San Francisco
11:45 AM – 12:00 PM Governor, Attorney General and county defendants
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Lunch
1:00 PM – 3:15 PM Proponents (argued by Charles Cooper)
3:15 PM – 3:45 PM Plaintiffs’ rebuttal
Please check with the American Foundation for Equal Rights for updates should this schedule change. We look forward to providing you the best in-depth and most current online team coverage of the Prop 8 federal trial in San Francisco.
If you want to know what’s happening, check with FDL.
Here is FireDogLake’s Prop 8 Trial hub webpage, where every FDL post and many external resources are available at one click.
Marcy and bmaz will be blogging at Emptywheel with their impressions, and I’ll be right here at The Seminal all day (pacific time!) Wednesday June 16th.
See you then for the final fireworks!

Looking forward to reading your live blogging!!
Thanks for the reminder, Tedster. Though, I hadn’t forgotten. It’s been calendared.
May I bring popcorn and sodas? I can’t wait. (And, it better be the outcome I’m expecting, ’cause there’s just been too much disappointing news lately.)
Thank you to FDL for the stupendous coverage.
PS…may I say ((PERRY!)) And, all others who so deserve a righteous outcome to this.
Can’t wait to provide you with our usual high standard of liveblogging with tomorrow’s team!
Will you be able to sleep well tonight? Long time coming, eh?
I imagine I will sleep.
Tomorrow is lawyer show-time. It’ll be fun to watch, enjoyable to see the performance. But no decision, and we don’t know when to expect it. We hope Walker will decide before the Ninth Circuit goes on its 8/1 summer break, but there’s really no guarantee at all.
No guarantee of anything that I’ve known. One of the things I enjoyed was watching Olson in action. The truth, the whole truth and no BS.
And, still, very exciting for citizens of our state.
Teddy! Mmmwaaahh!
Wish I could participate during the day, but be assured your coverage will be the first thing I check when I get home tomorrow.

You have so many toys :)

see you in court tomorrow. I hope I can get into the overflow room! Did you guys get press passes?
On another note, I just can’t stand seeing that self-righteous ass, Andrew Pugno walking the halls.
Michael Whitney is upstairs!

Teddy, looking forward to tomorrow — you da man.
Should be interesting to see how it turns out.

If Walker votes to overturn Prop 8 the next voices you’ll hear will be the Mormon Mafia screaming that he’s a ‘Mo.
Which of course he is. And quite a hot one, for those of use partial to Mature Daddies.
Waiting eagerly to see live blogging. Teddy, are you there in the courthouse?
Teddy, thank you in advance!
