If he runs in 2012 he’s going to get smoked. Thanks for the diary.

You are welcome, once I saw it I thought I needed to share it here. It seems to have something for everyone, from the most loyal Obama supporters to his most strident critics. There’s so much tongue-in-cheek it’s very hard to decide where the video-makers stand.

I think it’s very successful that way.

Let him smoke. Does it really matter to any of us in the midst of this shit storm? I don’t care if or what he’s smokes.
It’s his personal choice. He’s still a fraud.

Obama should try lighting up in NYC.
The Tyrant Bloomberg has banned smoking everywhere, and the city is real close to banning smoking everywhere outdoors, as well.
I don’t smoke but this goes too far.

He’s now trying to ban food stamp recipients from buying sugary soda. Dictating what people drink.

Today, I heard a CT. college has banned smoking everywhere on campus, inside and out.

Once people allow the government to make personal choices for us under the guise of public health, it’s a damn slippery slope. It will never end.

If Bloomberg is so worried about second hand smoke, he should ban the sale of cigarettes, period. But he won’t because he needs the tax revenue, so screw him. Hypocrite.

If he’d just check himself into the Galbraith, Black & Warren rehab center, I’m sure we could help him break the addiction.

Sorry for the semi OT mini rant.
My humour quotient vanished this morning after reading about
the return of stretches of BP oil the Coast Guard insists is algae, and the sudden outbreak of horrific illnesses of people who went in the water.

Also irritated beyond measure about anyone going to vote for the very people who have been aiding and abetting in the defrauding of your savings for the last five years.

To he who works who has class:

Now, now. I think you are being a bit harsh in your condemnation of Mr. Obama. He alone has accomplished in two years what most mortals could never accomplish in a 100 lifetimes.

Let me recite just a few of his stellar accomplishments and all done in under 2 years.
    1. He has alienated all of the liberals in the world.
    2. He has broken every promise he make during his campaign for the White House.
    3. He has premeditatedly killed through failure to immediately pass universal health care reform 160,000 Americans (40,00/yr X 4 yrs.
    4. He has delivered the poor women of our country into the back alleys to bled to death from botched abortions.
    5. He has sided with the banksters and Wallstreet to continue to steal wholesale from the American people through robo-foreclosures.
    6. Etc, etc, etc ad nauseam.

Now you must admit that he’s no lightweight when it comes to his accomplishments. So, what was your beef friend?

I have often wondered what impact of an active nicotine addiction has on Obama and therefore the country/world.

What’s it like having to sneak a cig every so often, feeling the pull of the addiction in the midst of presidential business? Having to excuse himself as he feels the physiological nicotine level dropping…??

Addicts make very poor neighbors I find, how is that similar and different for a president?

I believe I’d rather have a clean and sober president–free of alcohol, nicotine, coke, opiates, etc.

You think that’s something? They got a ballot initiative passed in Ohio that bans smoking inside of public buildings, bars, restaurants, and other locations used by the public, regardless of whether or not they are privately owned. I voted against it even though I detest smoking because I don’t think the government has a right to impose bans on such activities in privately-owned places.

Geez, Obama’s got people so pissed off at him that even a tongue-in-cheek video like this can’t get so much as a chuckle. I was doing a “WTF” myself on the “free health care” part, but like you said Teddy, lots of irony and satire in there.

And for Aaron Sorkin weenies (that would be me), the second episode of his ill-fated ‘Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip’ series featured this eerily reminiscent segment:

I don’t find it abhorrent and over the top at all. The black sites and Guantanamo confirm the murderous part, his police state spying confirms the tyrant part.
